We used in-home hospice service from Comfort & Peace Hospice for my brother before he passed. I believe they offer both in-home and facility-based care but my brother didn't want to leave his apartment. They offered nursing assessment, case management, and in-home aides. They delivered medications and durable medical equipment for him. We had an issue with one of the equipment but they immediately came out and replaced the unit that same day. They were very responsive to phone calls and they were very courteous, considerate, and compassionate. There was no billing because my brother was a veteran, so there was no charge for us, at all. They were very responsive. They brought medications out quickly. They brought a wheelchair and oxygen machines with both the oxygen tank and oxygen generating device. At first, he was assessed by a nurse, and then I would get phone calls from a case manager and the nurse aides came out too and saw him every day. They also brought additional medications for him. We only used their services 3 or 4 days before he passed so it wasn't very long but I would recommend them. They were very good.
