24Hr HomeCare's caregiver does a good job of sitting with my mom, and she takes my mom places. A couple of the caregivers are good, but I have had some issues with people not showing up and with the agency placing my mom with inappropriate caregivers. One caregiver has not told 24Hr Home Care (but has told my mom) that she is going back to school, so we are going to lose her in about a week. I think that's unprofessional. However, there is one lady who is fantastic. She always helps out, but she only comes one day a week. The agency has a tough time finding somebody for five days a week for me. There are two people coming in; one on Monday through Friday and one on Saturday. They're OK, but it's not what I expected. All the caregiver does is sit with my mom, which is great, but I like someone who is a little more active and helps clean up. I would not recommend 24Hr Home Care. For $24 an hour, they should be doing more than just sitting there on their phone next to my mom.
