We had A-Plus In Home Care in our home on a part time basis for over a year. We only used them three days a week. Over a year we did have three different ladies. All of them were fabulous. They helped my mother in law with her shower, made her meals, reminded her to take her medications, and provided companionship in general. We never felt like we had to hide anything, nothing was ever missing, and the house was cleaner than when we left in the morning. I often refer this company to my friends and family members.

A+? More like F-. Where to start? First: Told the girl that my grandmother could not be in the master bathroom because there was no railings or stable flooring for her to be safe on. Left the house, came back after just 10 minutes, and grandma was in the master bathroom. Told the girl a second time that she was not to use the master bathroom and to use the guest bath as it had more room. Had to run an errand to the grocery store and came back to grandma in the kitchen, no brief on, and pee all over the floor with no caregiver in sight. They claimed grandma "got away from her and she didn't get a chance to catch her in time." Did not know where she was or what she was doing at the time. Let it slide. Thought she was going to be in good hands for a few days when I left on a business trip. Came home to no caregiver at the house, grandma in the bathroom (alone), broken decorations in the trash with no explanation as to how or why, reports that she was fed cereal/half pbj sandwich/ pretzels/peanuts each day for 3 days while prepared meals remained in the refrigerator. Needless to say, will never recommend them to anyone, ever.

A Plus In Home Care was actually suggested to my father through St. Agnes Hospital. They provide in-home care for my parents, medicine checking, and light housekeeping. So far, we haven’t had any problems with the caregivers; they are very nice. The people who run the company are very helpful, and the caregivers are very accommodating, they are nice with my parents, they are helpful, and they call me when they feel there is a concern.
