My boyfriend had to drive down to supervise and make sure that they were doing their jobs better. They needed to send the people they told me they were going to send originally but also inform me if they had a change in caregivers. I would like to see more communication from the receptionist, to the provider, and to me because there was a complete lack of it on their end. Even though it was a little last minute, BrightStar Care should have asked me questions in addition to the information I asked for.

It's the corporate attitude that needs to change, and I'm not happy with how they presented themselves. If they're going to talk to seniors, they need someone closer to their age and not someone that just came out of school. The pricing could be improved.

They can send me a qualified person. Allen has been here five times to find out my wants and needs. I have not been sent people based on this. They have sent unqualified women. One of them stole my pain medication, and they fired her. Another one smoked on the job. It was a rainy day, and she made me sit outside in the rain. Another lady had just graduated and had no skills.

I really needed someone there. They were very professional, courteous and on time. I would highly recommend them. They were able to accommodate us on short notice. My mom was very satisfied. There were 3 people that cared for her, and she felt safe.

They would look after my wife, fix her meals, and let her know when she needed to take her medications. The caregivers they sent were outstanding, and they were able to keep the same caregiver with us. When we went from 8 hours to 24 hours a day, they were able to do that quickly.

The nurse was very thorough and very concerned. The first caregiver I had was excellent but the second one terrible. I am disabled and can barely stand up, so I really need their help. They need to give me the people that I keep asking for.

They are always good about letting me know for sure if there is going to be a change in the schedule. They keep up on everything. I don't have any complaints with the office staff or anything. I have torn rotator cuffs so my caregiver helps me put on clothing, helps me with the shower, and with making the bed. I use a walker and have had back surgery so a helper is very much in need and I appreciate it.
