This place should be put out of business! My father was there for 32 days. During that time, they took and lost his laundry on day one, let him sit in soiled diapers, left his catheter and feeding tube hang between his legs right next to each other. The average time for a call light to be answered was over 90 minutes and when I went to the nurses desk I kept getting told it wasn't their job to do it until I found one who swore all the way down the hall to his room so they could clean him up because he already had a diaper rash from sitting in it. He got to a point he refused to sit down until it was taken care of. They never provided any paperwork we asked for. They sent my dad to the hospital ER by ambulance and never arranged to pick him back up. He had to call his sister in the middle of the night who had to wake up her neighbor to take her to get him and drop him back off at the rehab facility. They gave up on certain therapies but could never tell me why. They had scheduled a date to send him home, but no one ever knew when it was until I said something. They didn't even show him how to use his feeding tube until five minutes before he was discharged. They sent him home with nothing. He didn't have his feeding tube equipment, nor his food bags, no therapy or nursing care. He was supposed to have all of this set up before he left so he had a safe discharge. It took me two days and another facility to get his things set up. If I could give this a negative number review I definitely would. I was also told they were not short staffed several times because I tried to give them some slack due to hiring things, but they defiantly stated they were not short staffed. The social workers at the facility were clueless. If you could actually get to talk to one, they had no answers.

When it came to paper work, notifying me of anything my aunt needed or whatever, the staff from Golden Living Center always called. I couldn't have been happier with it. As soon as you walk in the building, it had a really clean smell. It was located in a nice spot and was quiet. It was very good.
