The residents seem to be happy and taken care of. Lots of activities and the man who runs them is so caring. The recent visit from the Elvis impersonator was a fun and unique event too. We made a good choice to have mom move in.

I think The Waterford at Plymouth would be very nice. I knew someone who was there. A very close friend's mother was there. The family was very happy. Their mother enjoyed it. I knew that she was a very outgoing person. They played cards and did things together and she liked that. However, when COVID came, they couldn't see her. She would wave out of a window, and the COVID was bad all over. I also didn't find the staff members friendly or caring. I didn't see that. As for the structure of the building, they needed decorating and an uplift. The setting was beautiful, but it needed re-decorating. The staff told me that they were getting furniture and stuff. Their furniture looked like it came from my grandparents. It's such a building. I walked in there and I expected something, but I was disappointed.

I visited this facility. The sales gal was very bubby and helpful. She was very good at explaining everything about the facility and I must say, people who live here - there are a lot of essentials that are included in the rent. They have a bus/van that can take residents to appointments and it looks like for activities they are always going out in the community and doing fun things! That is included in the rent and I couldn't believe it. The residents looked like they were having a great time! Everyone is very friendly. The rooms are also updated with new paint and new flooring. They also have nice big bathrooms in each room with a nice walk in shower. Very clean facility. She also told me that they were going to be ripping up the carpet in the front entry way and the dining room with new paint. I am excited to see how that looks!

The facilities and the room setup at The Waterford at Plymouth were good. The staff was friendly and helpful. They showed me a spa, and they talked about their activities. It's a nice facility. It's located in a nice area. It has a very homey feeling to it even with its landscaping. It's a small community, but it feels more like home than a facility or an apartment building, or a nursing home. The rooms were more accommodating for people with accessibility issues. It's more open. There's vinyl flooring to help with clean up and maneuvering, and they had wide bathrooms with showers to allow some people to use their room instead of having to go to a different spa-type room for bathing needs and things like that.

I took a tour a few weeks ago and my biggest concern I wanted to talk to the workers about was that my father in law is a very picky eater. He has lost a lot of weight at home which prompted us to start looking at other living options. It seems like he would be in the assisted living not the memory care. It’s nice to know they have that too in case he needs it later. They said they are also going to have independent living maybe next year. The menu looked like there were meals my mother in law used to make and the cook said they will make alternatives if he doesn’t like what’s planned. I will be bringing my father in law back for a tour with my husband and the director said we could try a meal together so he could see if he likes it. I thought that was a great idea. The workers really seem to know a lot about what older people need.

I like that they have separate buildings for assisted living and memory care. I hope they will be able to open their independent building soon! Everyone was very helpful

I toured The Waterford at Plymouth. It was great. We met with one of the directors, and one of the nurses, and toured the facility. It was wonderful. It's a great tour. Great, pleasant people and very informative. They were putting new flooring in and repainting the room. They were refurbishing it for my mother. My brother did the tour, too. They were very open to our whole family. The activity director was working with some people. They had bingo today, they had casino night, and live music, and they were getting the chairs out for the patio because the weather is starting to get nicer.

The memory care inThe Waterford at Plymouth is small. There's only 20 residents. The director and the admissions director were both very helpful. They gave us a tour, and they're going to do an assessment on my uncle. We spoke with them a couple of times today, and we're just getting everything ready for him to be moved in next week. They are going to do a deep cleaning on the studio that he's going to be in. It's at the back of the building with big windows and overlooking woods. It's very bright and nice and he will have a large bathroom. You have to bring your own furniture in, which is not going to be a problem for us. There's a barbershop, a salon, activities, and a nurse on staff 24/7. The place is clean, and they were updating it. They just updated all the flooring, and the next phase will be the furniture and paint in the common areas.

Deciding to put my mom in Assisted Living was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make. My mom has Alzheimer's disease. Being her daughter, I wanted to do what she requested which was to stay in her home. I was able to honor her request for 6 months, but as time went on she needed more care. As we walked into The Waterford, the staff welcomed her with open arms and they put her mind at ease (and mine). And to top it off, she is allowed to have her dog right beside her! I will be forever grateful to everyone at The Waterford for taking such good care of my mom.

COVID has made this an extremely difficult time for families but I believe they are doing their best under the circumstances.

Recently my mother moved into Waterford in Plymouth (during Covid as well). Stacey and Kellye made the move seamless for my mother and our family. While I don't know the day to day staff by name they have all been tremendous in providing her care. We are very comfortable with her location and she has done very well in the short time she has been there.

The Waterford at Plymouth was very clean. They seemed to have activities that were satisfactory, and they were connected with the Generations, which is an activity center for elderly people where my mother goes often. She would be able to continue going there, which was a big reason why we wanted to go there. The staff was wonderful. I don't have any complaints. The atmosphere was very nice and I saw an example of the room. I certainly would recommend them to others.
