I visited this facility

The Waterford at Plymouth was beautiful and I was very impressed. I thought the rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and all the way around it was an excellent choice. The person that gave me the tour said that they have a lot of activities going.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My brother is at The Waterford. The dining and common areas look fine to me. It’s in a convenient location, and it's clean.

I visited this facility

The Waterford at Plymouth (formerly Libby's House) was very clean. They seemed to have activities that were satisfactory, and they were connected with the Generations, which is an activity center for elderly people where my mother goes often. She would be able to continue going there, which was a big reason why we wanted to go there. The staff was wonderful. I don't have any complaints. The atmosphere was very nice and I saw an example of the room. I certainly would recommend them to others.

The staff spend 1:1 time with residents who need special attention to ensure they get the proper nutrition at meal times. We can also prepare food with different textures, consistencies or even cut the meal up into bite sized pieces. Sometimes residents are most successful when they eat with their hands for finger foods which is OK. Everyone's needs are different and being different is something to celebrate. It's important to meet each resident where they are at, and not worry about fitting in or doing something how we want them to.
