"My parents have moved into Oak Park Place Menasha. It's very good. They're very caring staff. They did everything to make my parents comfortable and feel welcomed. And the residents were awesome as well. The staff went out of their way to be very helpful. They make sure we're taken care of. They're there to put up pictures on move-in day. They have just been checking in to make sure everything is good and comfortable, and that everyone is happy. They're very accommodating. We're very happy. Regarding the food, I have not tried it myself, but the reports I'm getting are that they're tasty. When it comes to the building, I'm very happy with the big wide hallways, natural light, and cleanliness. It's very good. They have a lot of diverse activities. They have intellectual things like readings and lectures. They also have little exercise classes and then they have social activities. They're trying to cater to everyone. They have a Veterans group, and they do football games and barbecues. They're trying to make it very nice. It's certainly expensive, but to me, knowing my parents are being cared for in such a good way is worth the money."

"This facility is an excellent choice for a loved one to stay. It is very modern and quite new. They have a nursing home area and also a dementia unit that I am aware of. The people here have wonderful care and the rooms are fantastic. A wonderful choice when it need to be. "

"Country Terrace of Wisconsin in Appleton didn't have rooms available that had a bathroom in them. It wasn't anything about the place, but whether it matched what we were looking for and that wasn't right for my mom. Mom would have liked her own bathroom, but the staff was very friendly, pretty thorough, answered all the questions, and provided brochures and stuff as well, not only for their facility but for other support systems in the area. So, that was very good."

"The rooms are adequate. The food is awful. There are no activities. There are no housekeepers. I couldn't get help with anything. They constantly messed up my medications and towards the end of my stay they didn't have my medications. Some staff were nice, most were abusive. Glad I left"

"We looked here and I liked the common areas, the room size, and the location. She was very helpful and accommodating with all of my questions. I actually chose them originally, but as things progressed with my mother during that time, things changed and they were eventually unable to accept her there. This would have probably been my first choice. I liked the layout of Building I. It seemed that they would be able to meet all of my mother's needs at that time. The rooms were all studio type units. "Cedar Grove Gardens I is the perfect fit for my mother that's why we moved her there. They are understaffed, but she loves their food. I think they could have more activities for them. In terms of amenities, they have everything that she needs. They have an activities room, they have a big dining area, a living room with TVs, and they have an outdoor place to have activities outside. They keep it very clean."

"Field of Dreams was a very clean welcoming facility. My friend didn't end up going there, but we felt confident that she would be taken care of. It seemed like their calendar was quite full of activities offered. There's a salon. There was a room that was nice, clean, and welcoming for activities."

"My uncle is in Abridge Care Cottages of Chilton. It has been a pretty good experience. They always call and let me know how he's doing. I think the care has been relatively pretty good. The cooking is good. I have been there several times when he's eating. His room is just basically one room with a bathroom, but it's a good size room. He's got room for a full-size bed, a dresser, a chest of drawers, a standard recliner, and a bench. The staff has been friendly with me. They've been good. If I ask any questions, they're always willing to assist or advise. They have a dining area. They have an activity area. They do have a large outdoor area that is gated, where nobody can wander off. They do rehabilitation and exercises. As far as an activity, I know he participates in bingo. They do drawings at times and a little bit of art stuff."
