For our needs, Lakeshore at Siena was pretty good. It had kind of a confined area where residents couldn't get out (because one of my worries is that my mother-in-law would wander). The facility was more group-oriented, so people would eat meals together, and things like that. They had a nice area where families could sit and visit. It was like being at home. It was very nice. The staff was extremely knowledgeable. They gave me some different options as far as memory care and kind of made me feel safe that that would be a good option for my mother-in-law. Because of her vision, I don't want to move her from one place to another because she can't see well. The staff was very understanding and offered different options. It's a beautiful place. The outside area was nice because with it being right on the lake, they had a nice area to walk, which was a cool part of that place.
