"My sister is here. She's in the memory department. The help that they have is very caring with her and they go out of their way. It's a nice place. I'm hoping when she gets a little better, she'll be able to sit outside in the summer. The staff is very caring, very helpful, and very good. The food is very good. It's a locked facility, so they have to come and let you in, but the residents are sitting around, watching TV, or walking around. The dining area is nice and clean. They all can eat together and you can have your company come to eat with you, so it's very nice. She's in a double room and it's medium-sized. It's very clean."

"I toured Harbour Village for my parents. The people were very friendly. Everything looked clean. The staff was awesome. They were very helpful and explained everything very well to me. The problem that I had with it is that, for what they're charging, they had no dishwasher, no microwave, and no washer-dryer in the apartment. The building seemed like an older facility; it's not brand new. The air conditioner there is what gives us a 'no' on it because it's very loud and it's a wall unit. However, I felt like the atmosphere was beautiful. When you go into the atrium and the desk, it looks very nice."

"My aunt stayed at Discovery Commons Brookfield, which was very nice but pricey. The people who worked there were wonderful. The facility was new and clean. It was state of the art, but parking was also a problem there. The rooms were smaller than the ones I looked at for my mom, but they were very nice. They did have very nice walk-in showers with a seat hanging from the wall, which was very nice so my aunt could be independent in showering herself. I ate lunch with my aunt, and the food was very good."

"I toured Auberge at Brookfield, a memory care facility. The staff gave me a packet with the pricing and everything. He also showed me around the facility. He said the doors have a green something on them, so he showed me that and how it works. The fencing is all the way around the whole complex. They have four stations where they can watch TV and other stuff like that. They have art for them. They take them out on excursions. The staff also explained to me that if my mom were there and ended up having to go into a hospice, she would stay there. Then, the doctors and staff would come and visit her there, and we wouldn't have to take her from there and then put her in the hospital. So, I like that. They make all their meals there. They have an area where we could come in and cook whatever we want to. They have a beauty salon, and my mom likes to get her hair and nails done, and I love that."

"We chose Oak Park Place Oak Creek for my mother. It's been extremely positive, it's a brand new facility, and I did have quite a few visits there before they had to close it down because of the Covid. But everything was of the utmost quality and care. The people that work there were very nice, and the facility is beautiful. Right now, they're taking very good care of the residents that are there, and I'm very pleased and positive that she's in a good place while this is going on. We have visits outside of the building and to the estate, they're doing very good job with the residents that they have, and I would highly recommend it. It's just a fantastic place, and honestly, I wouldn't mind being there. It's just a lovely atmosphere, and the indoors are tastefully done. I think the staff is wonderful, and they seemed very experienced to my mother's condition. The food seemed good, very good variety, and that was from months ago but I didn't hear any major complaints. This place is more affordable."

"I visited the independent living side of Oak Hill Terrace Senior Living. I was very happy with the tour. The lady that led me through was very helpful, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. I would have moved in there, except all they had available was a very small studio and it was just too small for my needs. They went over the activities too. I liked the facility, it was very nice. They had an exercise room and they had gardens available if you choose to participate. I would recommend the facility."

"I have a Love One that has been a resident at Brookdale Senior Living/Capital Drive since October 2020 - He has Parkinson's and Dementia and we could no longer care for him. What made us choose Brookdale was the intimacy of the facility. They only have 24 residents and the staff is caring, attentive and knows each person, both their likes and dislikes and how to deal with them. They know my voice when I call and are respectful and compassionate to both his needs and mine. The make me feel like they care for both of us and that's extremely important to me. They also have been very diligent for the COVID protocols and I appreciate their staffs professional approach to the whole situation. Are they perfect NO - Do they try their best for each individual YES - I highly recommend them to any one looking for an Assisted facility for Dementia related person. "

"I went to Oak Park Place Burlington. They had a lot of the best country views from the parking lot. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and thorough in their explanations. They had a library there. They have a tub like a whirlpool. They had a big meeting hall with a movie screen. They have a hairdresser coming in twice a week."
