Matthews of Pewaukee

Matthews of Pewaukee's bathrooms were kind of small, and I can't get around a lot with my wheelchair. They had movies on a big screen TV, a barber shop, you can do your laundry yourself or they do it for you, meals and snacks, and a big courtyard where you can sit and relax which was nice. I like the garden, and they have a special place where you can start a pot garden, something to keep you busy.

Wyndham House is very nice and very clean. The environment in the facility is very bright and open. It's smaller, and there are only 26 apartments in there. But t's one of the things I like because it's not such a long walk for my mother to get to other areas. She can find her way to the kitchen very easily. My mother loves all the aides. All the staff, even the cooks are all very nice. She enjoys the food there. But they lack activities for the residents that are there. The housekeeping staff do her laundry and clean the apartments. But if you don't keep on them, they tend to not do it. When I mention it, it's done immediately. But if I wasn't there it will build up, because my mother is not the type who would complain about anything.
