My mother was in McCormick Memorial Home. I liked it because there were family homes nearby, and the setting was beautiful because there were trees around. It was comforting to go there. The staff was excellent and seemed to be on top of everything. The food, the entertainment they provided for the residents, and the cleanliness were great. I couldn't see anything to complain about. They had nurses and CNAs. There were picnics in the summertime and entertainment during Christmas. They wanted everybody to be happy and enjoy their stay.

We visited McCormick Memorial Home, and we liked it very much. We were very pleased with Donna -- who showed us along. The interaction between Donna and the residents was great; she knew them all by name. She was very knowledgeable, and she allowed us to look at different units. They were always very friendly and very helpful. We had a meal there, and the food was very good. There were food choices. My parents liked it which was important because they were the ones who would be staying there. It was very clean, and there was no odor. They had get together areas that were always open and available. If you had companions who would come over, and you had more people that would fit in your unit, you could just go into the rooms where they had places to sit, and they had TVs. It was very nice. We looked at a lot of places, and they were OK, but once we went to McCormick, we were sold. That's where they wanted to go, and we were pleased that it was their choice.
