While in the region looking at facilities for our uncle, we stopped in at the Clarity Care Shawano Avenue Apartments. The staff was accommodating, despite the fact that we did not have an appointment. We could see from the outer exterior that it was very well maintained. The grounds were also nicely landscaped, with tree-lined walkways and seating areas to host outdoor parties. The staff her can accommodate every ambulation levels. As resident's needs change, they adjust the care accordingly. There were many nicely designed community rooms where seniors could enjoy reading in the library, card games, exercise,crafting and hosted events. We could see that anything a resident might need is provided. The dining room was easy access with comfortable furniture and plenty of space. The food looked, smelled and tasted delicious. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are also regularly. Seniors are encouraged to exercise by waking outside on the grounds, taking fitness classes of using the equipment. They can also get personal assistance anytime they need it. Private living spaces were generous, with beautiful furnishings, individual designs and fresh air and light. All units were efficient and easy to navigate. The residents regularly visit many interesting cultural places in the region, such as art, music and other interesting events. They also get to enjoy the many casual and fine dining establishments in the area. We were impressed with how well the staff cared for the residents and could see that they all enjoyed living here very much.
