Sage Meadow of Fond du Lac Suites

We thought that Sage Meadow of Fond du Lac Suites was especially nice. It was very warm and welcoming, and the rooms were wonderful. They had a lot of activities going on when we came in. Their head cook was also running a Bible study class in the gathering room, which was a nice, huge front room. They had a nice rehab center on the lower level. I probably would have chosen that for my mom for assisted living, but she has some dementia and they don't do any of that kind of care at Sage Meadow. But for assisted living, I thought they were outstanding. And so I would give them a very good review. They also have activities like sing-alongs and a guest would play the piano. People were sitting along their front veranda just enjoying the weather. They had lots of nice flowers and planters that the residents had worked on, this place would have been perfect.

When the time came for our mother to go to a home--we took her to several places & even though all were nice--she just really liked Sage Meadows at 597 Kingswood Ave. best. She enjoyed everyone & everything & was well taken care of by the staff. They loved her & she loved them back. She was so happy to have a religious service & never missed any. The activities were fun for her & she was known to be the "lucky" one at games. The atmosphere, food, cleanliness, residents & awesome staff made her feel right at home. All this made our family right at home & welcome too. It's a wonderful place to have been at.

Mother has been in Walnut Grove since September 3. She liked it one better. The rooms are quite nice, a lot of room, spacious, and good lighting. The staff is okay from what I've seen but they're going through a transition right now and I'm not sure where that's headed. They've had a lot of activities like exercise, bingo, Scrabble and Skip-Bo and had a field trip or two already. What I like best is the cleanliness of it from what I've seen and the caring staff that she's had.
