"The independent living at Library Square Senior Living was very nice. The person who gave the tour took us all over and was very pleasant. I felt very comfortable. The rooms were a little smaller than what I wanted, but I would fit in fine. It's very clean and has a lot of activities for the residents. It was an older building, but it was still kept up very well. They have underground and surface parking, but there was a waiting list for parking inside. The area is very nice, and the person who gave the tour was very personable."

"My mom is going to move into The Arboretum Senior Living. She is going to start in independent living. It is welcoming and inviting. People are moving about, and there are enough activities to keep going. Everybody was, 'hello, hello.' They're very friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. They were larger than I expected. I like the fact that her independent and assisted living could be in the same apartment, so I don't have to move her every time. I like the convenience of her being able to stay. The dining area is very welcoming. We have not eaten there. One of the big things my mom wanted is, my mom is a card player, she's a nature walker, she's big on her spiritual life, and she's a crafter, and all of that is offered. When she moves towards memory care, I like the fact that they have a handle on keeping them busy, knowing about the sundowning and knowing about it and the various aspects of it. When I asked about ratio turnover, I know Arboretum is rebuilding itself up, but everybody there seems to be back on board. My mom is going to have a balcony. They have a pond, and they have a nature walk as well. They have a walkers' group. The entire back area is all wooded, so it's very nature-oriented, which is very calming. They have a courtyard, so they have things where you can go and relax. The staff was quick in responding. They went out of their way to give an evening tour because I couldn't come during the day with my work schedule. So they re-worked their schedule with me. They're very kind and very open to questions and sharing information. The communication was strong from the minute you walk in with the reception desk all the way through. Even on the tours, the workers were greeting you. It's an older facility, so if somebody is looking for like the newest of new amenities, that's not what they're going to get there, but they're going to get every amenity that they need."

"I was able to go to here for a visit. I was just there for a short period of time, but the facility is clean. It seemed like they have activities that the residents can participate in. It seemed like the people who are in charge with the meals are really nice. I was able to see their rooms and they were pretty small. For the short time that I was there, I felt that the facility is pretty nice. The staff did well in accommodating me and they have been in correspondence with me since my visit. "

"I went to look at Oak Hill Terrace Senior Living. I like the place. The price was right. I'm from Waukesha, so I know the area. The staff members were very helpful. I enjoyed talking with them. I looked at one- and two-bedroom apartments. They had furniture in them. I liked the floor plans. It was nice and very roomy. They showed me most of the different places that you can use, like the cafeteria and other rooms. They had a courtyard, a library, and game rooms."

"I toured Layton Terrace Senior Living. They are very welcoming. Tracy was just open arms, full of knowledge, full of information, and very friendly and inviting. She's a great listener. The rooms are spacious in size and clean. It's more than what you need. It looked out onto a terrace as well. There are big windows and very nature oriented. They had a small nature trail, but they had a nice courtyard. The dining room was clean."

"It was beautiful and very private. It was very quiet and there was not a lot of activity. The dining room was really nice. I liked the fact that they have a room that you can reserve and eat inwith your loved ones, which I didn't see in other communities."

"LakeHouse Menomonee was a beautiful place and it was well-kept. One lady and one man gave me the tour and both of them were nice. They were very thorough, very convincing, and very informative. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The dining area was accommodating and nice. The surroundings looked pleasant. They said they had an activity director, and I saw some residents playing cards and some talking to each other."
