"My mother has moved into Prairie Ridge Assisted Living. They have been awesome and helping me place my mom. It's very, very clean. The rooms are very clean. They supply toiletries and paper towel dispensers. The staff is very caring. They make sure that the residents are down for their meals, and if they can't make it down, they bring their meals to them. They have activities for them to do which they encourage them to participate in. The staff interacts very well with the residents. I'm very pleased with them. The food is good. There are good portions. My mom has not had any complaints about the food. Yesterday, they had a field trip to Fond du Lac, Hobby Lobby, and Gilles. They have bingo, and today they had KerPlunk. One thing I like is every day they have exercise, two sessions, one at 10:00 and one at 2:00. They have card games, they have a puzzle in the main area for all the residents to work on, and they had an ice cream social last Friday for the residents. They have a coffee social. They have a church that the residents could participate in. They have bowling, beach volleyball, arts and crafts, and they did painting, and Halloween coloring. Every day, they have stuff for them to participate in."

"I visited Remembrance Home. It’s a giant open concept and each person gets a room with an individual bathroom, but you cannot bring your furniture. The place was very nice, just not fit for my grandmother. "

"We visited Eagles Wings while in the area looking at assisted living facilities to consider for our uncle. The outside had lovely grounds with nicely landscaped shrubs, trees and lawns as well as ample seating areas.We could see that they can accommodate a variety of ambulation levels and as needs change, the care team adjusts accordingly. There were ample community rooms for a variety of stimulating activities such as reading, games, socials, physical exercise and hosted events The fitness center had regular exercise classes, such as stretch and yoga and aerobics classes. There are also personal trainers who come regularly to instruct the residents. The meal menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets, as well as healthy snacks regularly offered whenever residents request them.The dining room was nicely designed with comfortable furnishings. The meals we saw looked and smelled appetizing. The outside activities feature many interesting cultural events in the wonderful Beaver Dam and surrounding areas, like films, art and other interesting cultural gatherings. The private spaces had nice, personalized decorations and easy access furnishings with privacy, fresh air and light. We were impressed with how nicely designed all of the living spaces were, and how comfortable the seniors appeared. The staff was also very tender, thoughtful and accommodating. "

"My mother-in-law is in Matthews of Horicon. The overall experience is fair. We like the activities director and the homey feeling. The thing we like least about it is that they are understaffed. Half of the staff members are great, and half of them suck. My mother-in-law hasn't had any complaints about the food. They have a salon."

"I wouldn't let my pet stay in this facility. The management is only concerned about their paycheck and maintaining their 20+ year of control. Residents are routinely denied general pain reliever, restricted fluids & given poor unhealthy food choices - despite the provider's claims. Psychiatric re-evaluation occurs only once every 3 months and does not involve any staff except the manager of the facility. Residents are responsible for all snow removal. Staff are highly unprofessional - bring their pets to the facility or their children during their working hours. "

"The Meadows of Fall River memory care has done an excellent job, and I appreciate that. The facility itself is very, very clean, and the people are very helpful. Any kind of an issue and I get informed right away. It seems to be meeting his needs. They bring a lot of activities, but I'm not sure if my father's very much into activities. They do pay attention to him, they check on him frequently, and if there's an issue, they call me about it, so it's very good. It's expensive because it's memory care. It's an expensive area to be in, but it's very, very good. My dad hasn't lost any weight so I think the food can't be too bad either."

"My mom moved to Prairie Ridge Assisted Living. The individual apartments are quite sizable. The staff has been very friendly and open throughout the process and accommodating. Everything's very easy to get to. The halls are nice and wide. I wish they had central air, other than that everything is very clean and easily accessible. I've only had one meal there. The dining area is pretty basic. They have tables and staff who bring the meal to you, but it's just your basic open space. They had a fair amount of activities for the residents to partake in. They have somebody who can come in and do the residents' hair for a fee. They have dietary staff. They have an exercise area and exercise equipment. They've got a chapel. It's pretty expensive. It's probably on the lower end of other facilities from a cost perspective, but a lot of that has to do with location."

"I toured the facility to find a placement for my mother with dementia. The facility was clean, staff greeted me at the door and immediately answered all of my questions. I was so impressed with the professionalism of not only the administrator and nurse there, but also with the caregivers that I admitted my mother the same week. I immediately felt that this was a home and not a drop off place for my mother. She enjoys the activities and interactions with the staff and other residents. They all treat her like she is one of the "family". I am so grateful to find such a place for my mother to relieve my stress and peace of mind. "

"The Deerview Meadows assisted living facility in Mayville, Wisconsin looked like a nice place to live. We were searching for a new home for our uncle. The exterior was really beautiful and it really looked like someone took the time to design the facility with the senior's needs in mind. The grounds were well manicured and accessible for safe use by the seniors.This facility had ample community rooms including a well-stocked library and a number of stimulating activities. The exercise center includes daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes. Residents may also safely navigate the lovely garden pathways and courtyards on the property. Private rooms were thoughtfully designed with beautiful living spaces that featured larger rooms and security features. The programs they have are designed to accommodate any level of ambulation and care, which changes easily according to the resident's needs. The dining room offers a nice variety of meal options, plus they will make special requests. There was also a healthy number of snacks available as requested. The calendar of events included arts, crafts, festivals, shopping, culture, eateries, art, music, library and films. The residents are also treated to many socials planned at the facility. The staff was very kind and accessible throughout our visit. They check on all of the residents regularly to ensure their safety and comfort. Clearly, the residents really enjoy living there and it looked like a great place for seniors to retire. "

"We loved Home Again Columbus. It met all of our needs. We toured through it. The apartments were lovely. They're not fancy, but they're very nice. The staff was great; she was really good. She spent quite a bit of time with us and answered all our questions. We looked at the menu and it's fine. My husband is a vegetarian, and they have accommodations for that."

"Anyone who wants proof of the existence of angels should visit Highland House. The entire staff treated my mother like a queen during her stay there. These are the most caring human beings I have ever met. We could not have found a better place for my mother to get the care she needed. "
