Holiday Park Plaza seems to be very diverse and older. They serve meals three times a day. It's a great facility if you want to do nothing with your time beyond activities. There are hardly any cooking facilities within the apartments at all. I say they tend to lean toward the higher age group in that particular facility. That's the impression I got. The staff who gave the tour was a contract person, so I wasn't too thrilled with that. It seems very corporate to me. The dining area seems to be quite lovely. There's a lot of light and there are many tables. It seems to be very, very clean.

What made me choose Holiday Park Plaza for my mom is because it's close to me, and the expense, and the personalities of the staff there. I love all of the staff members. They're just precious. It's very clean and very friendly. Beautiful little apartments. All the meals are provided. They come in and clean once a week. My mom's utilities are all included. Outside the window, it looks like there's a little park. It's very nice. The floors are brand new in the apartment; it's very nice.

Rooms are well maintained. They are a bit small but workable. Laundry is centralized in the building. There is a refrigerator and sink in each room. A community kitchen is located on the second floor. Food is good. Food is included in pricing. Tables are set for six people but you may sit wherever you like. Management as well as support staff is EXCELLENT. Some serving staff have been at this facility for 7 or more years. They told me that they love their jobs and it shows in how they interact with seniors. This is a smaller family oriented environment. Activities reminded me of senior center night. They are not as varied as some other facilities that I visited. There is a dog park within short walking distance.

I toured Holiday Park Plaza. The one apartment that they had opened at the time when we were there was on the bottom floor. I liked that they were willing to cook something that my dad may like if he did not want what was on the menu for that day. The chefs were flexible. The staff was very nice. The apartments were clean and very nice.

We looked at Holiday Park Plaza. It was very nice. It was very clean, very quiet, very attractive, and very appropriate for independent living. The people working there were very knowledgeable, very polite, very considerate, and very accommodating. They answered all our questions, showed us around, and showed us the rooms. They were very complimentary. We think this is a very nice place, and when we need it, that's where we want to go. They provide meals. They have a common area for meals with very nice small tables. It looked very nice.

I saw three or four different rooms at Park Plaza. I just took a general tour of the facility. There was not as much as light coming in, and the ambience wasn't a five. I looked at a room and an apartment, and they were in the process of putting in new carpet, painting the walls, and cleaning it up from the previous occupant. What I saw was clean and nice. I saw the dining area, but I never saw any of the food. They gave me a menu, and based on what I saw, it looked pretty good. They had an exercise room, a walking path outside that was paved, and a chapel.

Peter was the person we talked to at Park Plaza and he was very personable, very helpful, and very pleasant. We had lunch there and it was very good. The place was in a beautiful setting. The only thing we did not care for was the manager, because she acted like she wasn?t really interested. She and her husband didn?t act like they were really happy with what they were doing. Everybody was nice except the managers.

The experience was pretty good. We had a lot of friends there. Park Plaza was updated, and they have a good cook. It was good; they have baseball, they went out a lot on bus rides and ice cream once a month. They had bingo and card games.

The staff at Park Plaza was really good and really attentive. They had enough people and really good food. They served us a meal, and they sat down and talked with us about their facilities, what they have, and what was available. Overall, it was a good experience. They had a couple of levels, and it was well laid out. The dining area was in the center so all the rooms and the hallways come on to that. They had activities like gardening and bingo. They had a van, and they take people out. We talked to some residents there, and they said they always had good meals. They also had some cottages beside the main building too, so it has a good variety.

I moved to Park Plaza about two and a half years ago and I enjoyed living here. I'm not that great on the food here though. We get cheaper food than expensive food. I got a double room.

I visited Park Plaza during the last few weeks of my Grandpa's life. When we visited there, the staff was friendly, but generally stayed out of our way. They were very nice to my grandpa during the ordeal. His room was clean and large, and had a good outside view. The facility seemed a bit dated and smelly, but otherwise well kept. The visitor's area had plenty of seats and magazines. My Grandpa never complained about the facility while he was there and seemed to enjoy it. My biggest complaint would be the staff though. While they were helpful in some ways, most of them would be avoiding us to do other things. THe facility wasn't overly complex, but some help to my grandpa's room would have been nice.I don't think I would mind all that much to live here when I grow that old, but let's see if they change the wallpaper in the next 60 years when I'm sent there.
