My aunt is in Brookdale Vancouver Stonebridge. They are caring and on the ball. If somebody gets hurt or if somebody needs something, they're right there to assist them. And if anything ever happens, like if she falls or she won't eat, they get a hold of me to let me know. They can also get a hold of hospice right away. I talked to a few of the staff and they seem very caring. They're remodeling the whole thing now from top to bottom. We don't get to go in and do anything. We visit her in a separate but formal dining room area, and they bring her in. They said there are activities for the residents. Where she's at, they have a courtyard that's all fenced and gated in. So the memory care unit residents can't leave the grounds at all, they can't go out and escape. It's quite expensive but I can understand that.

My sister-in-law stayed in Brookdale Vancouver Stonebridge. I would not recommend Brookdale to anybody. She was there a month and we pulled her because she fell. She went to the hospital multiple times, she lost seven pounds in a week, and her A1C went up to 800. It was decent. It was clean. They were doing remodeling and whatnot during that time. So that is to be expected, but it was respectable and decent. My sister-in-law's room was not cleaned thoroughly when she moved in. We cleaned it, we left it cleaner than when she moved in. We have pictures to prove it. I've got pictures of how dirty it was, how they didn't clean it once a week. They didn't bathe her, they let her decide instead of doing what they should have done, that they were getting $7,000 a month.

We found Brookdale Vancouver Stonebridge for my mom. They can fulfill her needs a lot better than where she is at. It is a memory care place, and that's specifically what she needs. The staff are very professional, very caring, kind, compassionate, and understanding. The place is very clean and smells good. Those are the two big ones. It is also very well organized. They have a salon. I don't know about anything else because it really wasn't our concern at the moment.

Grandma was neglected at Brookdale Vancouver Stonebridge and things went missing all the time. The care staff wasn't very helpful. We were like a burden anytime we asked for anything. Honestly, there was only one caregiver I met that was very friendly. My grandma only bathed up to one time in the months she was there. They didn't brush her teeth. She developed a rash there and had sores all over. It was pretty awful. It felt cold and kind of dreary there. They also had no activities.

I liked Brookdale Vancouver Stonebridge. It wasn't so different than the one my mom was in that would cost me to dramatically make that kind of change, but it was very comprehensive and it was large scale, which I was looking for. Everybody was very welcoming. They were very eager to potentially host my mom. The dining area looked terrific. It looked like the kind of place I could live at. They were offering apartments and that was very complete. Brookdale was probably a better fit for me than my mom because there were so many things going on, so much activity available, that kind of thing, which I could take advantage of, but she probably would not. The apartments were very nice and well-appointed. It was not at all like an industrial stamped-out kind of thing. They looked like you could personalize them very easily. It was all very clean. It was a great place. It would probably be something I would consider being more mobile. My mom is so immobile, that she probably wouldn't go take advantage of most of the opportunities there. The staff was excellent. I realized people are struggling with staffing today, but I didn't see any sign of that. The place was clean and they were polite and professional.

The management and head nurse are terrible, very rude and antagonistic. I have experienced so many problems with them. Their only saving grace are the aides who are wonderful.

My husband is at Brookdale Vancouver Stonebridge. He is doing pretty well and is getting good care. I can't go see him because of COVID, and I have only seen him once since he moved in. They are easy to talk to and they listen to your concerns. They are very nice people and well trained. I have seen the inside once when he moved in and it was very clean. They call me anytime they want me to know something or if they need to ask me something. I think they are doing a few things like singing and church services. They told me the only thing he participates in is singing, and he likes to play the drums, but he won't participate in the other activities. I was having trouble getting him to bathe and shave, and it's really hard to accomplish that, but they're giving him showers and getting him shaved, which I think is great. I ate there a couple of times at the very beginning. I don't think it is gourmet, but it is good.

Look elsewhere. Too much attitude and conflict with mgmt. Chronic understaffing, antagonistic and uncooperative mgmt.

We've only been at Stonebridge for less than 2 weeks. I'm evaluating every visit. It's very good. The dining room seems to be good. I've had two meals there so far with my wife.

My neighbor (and friend) stayed in this facility for about 10 months. She really enjoyed her time there and I was always impressed with the place. It was always clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and it was a nice place. It did not feel institutional like many of these places (at least the ones I have been to) sometimes feel, it felt more like a comfortable, homey type of place. She really enjoyed it there and her being comfortable was very important to all of us close to her.
