My wife is now at York Convalescent Center. This is her fifth visit there, and I'm very comfortable with the facility, the staff, and the care that they render. I have no complaints. I have tried the food. I won't say it's excellent, but it's good. They offer options, so diets can be tailored. They're trying to please a whole lot of different people with different tastes, and they do a pretty good job of it. They have a full calendar of activities. There's something different going on every day.

My wife is currently a rehab resident at York. Everyday I am greeted with a smile and immediately feel positivity. The interaction between staff, and staff and family is so close and great to see. Across the board this facility has been wonderful and very accommodating. The administrative, nursing and rehab staff truly care and try so hard. The facility is clean and I feel comfortable spending a great deal of time there. We have realistic expectations that hiccups will come along and I know they will be addressed. So far so good! Thank you to York!

Absolutely stellar care for my grandma. I came by several times to check on her and she was always happy. She was able to return home after 4 weeks in rehab. Everyone is so nice there and the facility is nice and clean.

My mother recently had a fall and needed some rehab after a stay in the hospital. I had no clue where to go or how the process worked. I have 3 choices based on distance from where we live and Mattie was the only to call me back to say they had a bed for her. From the moment I visited, I could see that they genuinely care about the residents staying there (long term and short), and felt comfortable having my mom come. Mom stayed for almost 3 weeks and I visited most every day. I was always greeted with a friendly face, had fantastic interactions with the staff, and was impressed with the thoroughness of care she was given. If there were more starts to give I would. Thank you to everyone for showing my mother such great care, and while I hope that we never need to have her back in a rehab facility, if we do I won't bat an eye before going back to York Convalescent.

My mother just recently passed away at York Convalescent and Rehab Center. The nursing staff was so kind and caring. They treated my mother and our family, like family. The dietary staff sent coffee and snacks to my mothers room and we were always checked on. No place is perfect but this facility strives to be. Thank you York for making my mothers last days as comfortable and peaceful as possible. My family and I could not have asked for anything more.

My mom was at york for therapy after a fall at home this past summer. The entire rehab process was seamless. I received a call from the admissions coordinator while mom was still at the hospital and she was amazing. She put my mind at ease right away and kept me more in the loop than the hospital did. She called each day until mom was ready to transition to rehab. The day mom went to york, their whole team (that’s really what they are!) knew mom was coming in and were so welcoming! Talk about a fun group of girls up front! One of the girls even helped me carry moms things to her room. I was so impressed with her private room on the rehab wing. Moms stay was approx 4 weeks and from start to finis my mom was so pleased. She really enjoined her therapist and the food! Their nursing, therapy, and social worker were so informative and truly caring. The administrators were so knowledgeable and always accessible. I saw them out on the floor with their staff quite a bit. The receptionist is wonderful and always had a smile. Hopefully we never have to go through this again but if so, we will only go back to york!

My husband is now in York Convalescent. The staff and the nursing are excellent. They really seem to connect and show that they care, like it is not just a job. We’ve been to sister facilities, and the nursing staff is always great. The administrators at some of the other ones have not been as nice, but York is amazing. It is very clean and very nice.
