The most impressed I have been, is that everybody knew my name right away. Staff is courteous, and efficient. I've been around the staff enough that I can tell what their mood is. I have a suggestion for Activities. Maybe add Shuffleboard, or electronic bowling or some sort of Arcade game.

I loved the Harmony independent living. The tour was excellent and everyone was very friendly and helpful. When the time comes for me to downsize I hope to become a resident at Harmony.

My husband liked the physical layout of The Harmony Collection at Roanoke - Independent Living. The staff was friendly and with that, coupled with the physical layout, it was a little more upscale. We looked at a one-bedroom apartment. The restaurant and meal selections were superior to what we had found in the other facilities. They had a bar and that impressed us. We liked the decor. In most of the facilities we toured, they're trying to be nice and everything, but in The Harmony Collection at Roanoke, it was more upbeat. It might have been because most of the occupants there were a little more independent in living there. They were focusing on the independent living aspect of it, and it just seemed less depressive and more upbeat. It would have been a place that we would seriously consider had my brother not been able to arrange in-home care. This would have been a serious contender. They offered garages for people who still drive. It had a lot more to offer. The whole atmosphere was very upbeat and pleasant. They had great views, too.

I will be moving into The Harmony Collection at Roanoke - Assisted Living. I guess I've been all through it: the dining area, the social area as you come in, my room, how to get to it, and the garage. I chose it because I eliminated steps, I may have an assigned parking place, I can go right from the parking into the floor that I live on, and food. I'll get three meals a day, more balanced than I make. The staff was knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, and helpful.

My dad moved into The Harmony Collection at Roanoke, and so far it has been amazing. They have been so amazing. When we got my dad to go see it, they came out and visited my dad. They had sent videos to him. So we visited and they pulled strings, their doctor came in on a Saturday to get him moved in before my mother had to go back. They really went out of their way. They loaned him a cable box because we couldn't get the cable hooked up in a couple of days. They've been amazing. His apartment is much larger than we expected, it's very clean, the staff and the maintenance crew were extremely quick in offering to get pictures and curtains hung up. It's very well set up to be handicap accessible, and perfect for what he needed. They had us out for a luncheon and they went out of their way to prepare things that they knew my dad liked, so it was wonderful. It's a little pricey.

I visited my mother one time at The Harmony Collection at Roanoke. It was the best of all the places that I looked at as far as cleanliness, friendliness, the size of the apartment, and the layout of the apartment. The staff is very nice. She has a two-bedroom apartment, but they have one-bedroom apartments and other types of two-bedroom apartment with different layouts. The activities are mostly just things my mother wouldn't be really interested in. She's kind of a loner, and she's not interested in card games or things like that. The only thing that she might take advantage of are the shopping expeditions that they have. They have a beauty salon. The facility is very clean and very attractive. There's not like a big TV blaring in the living room.

My parents are now at The Harmony Collection at Roanoke. It is a lovely place. The apartments are very clean and lovely. There are lots of activities and things to do for the seniors. Their staff is well equipped. My parents have someone who is there to help them all the time. The staff members are all very helpful. I have actually eaten the food there. It was very good. My parents think the food is very good, too. The service is also good. It is expensive, but they're not cheating you out of anything. My parents are getting their money's worth for what they pay.

We visited the Village on Pheasant Ridge and it was a very excellent facility with an excellent and friendly staff. They were good. The only thing that they can improve on was access to the outside for taking their pet dog. That's one thing that would help. The location is very good too. It's very well laid-out, easy for people to get from one location to another, and I really enjoyed the place. We saw some rooms, one-bedroom and we were very happy with that. Maybe they should have patios outside their rooms.

We selected The Village on Pheasant Ridge for my husband's parents. It has assisted living and more active living; that's why we chose it. The staff was absolutely fabulous, very friendly, and very helpful. The rooms are spacious. They have two bedrooms that have two bathrooms, which were very nice. They have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. They have an activity bus and a very busy calendar. People come in with support dogs for the people to enjoy. They have a choir there, and they do have activities where they go out everyday except for Saturdays and Sundays. It has pretty views of the mountains. The people who run it are very nice. It seems to be clean and very well kept up.

My mother had been in The Village since June. I just like the place. I like the services they provided. I like the overall facility itself. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. I had tried eating there and they serve good food. My mom has an apartment there and it's adequately sized.

At The Village On Pheasant Ridge the staff were helpful and cheerful they had a nice garden like area where the residents could sit outside and look at the flowers. The residents seemed very happy and their activities director was very entertaining the rooms were comfortable and the halls and social areas had plenty of seating, the food was amazing even the servers were great I visited during the 4th of July and they had very nice fireworks. Everyone was very polite to me and I felt very comfortable being there, the only thing that I could think of that would improve this facility is perhaps more accessible outside areas. While i didn't seen all the way around the buildings what i had seen was a covered area with many rocking chairs. All in all it seems like a great place and would trust my family member to live comfortably and happily.
