My mother was in several nursing homes in which she almost died several times due to extremely poor care and coordination btween hospice and the nursing home. After yet another hospitalization and near-death we moved her to Texan Nursing Home where she has lived for one year. They provide excellent care and are more like a family than the other places. It is not nearly as pretty a facility as the other places, but Mother loves it and they work very hard to keep her that way. They have bent over backwards for her comfort and needs. I highly recommend this facility.
