Do not ever place someone you love in this facility. I placed a loved one here and they died less than 48hrs later, having been stable upon entry she died in fear. The DON is not a good woman. The administration and nursing staff are not on the same page. Please, Please find another location for those you love. I will live with the regret of placing someone I love here for the rest of my life. Read reviews and star rating through Medicare.gov and see that they fail to meet standards and have been investigated far too many times in the past. Even paid a 21,000$ fine to the state.

I recently looked for a rehab facility for my mom. I googled and saw that Granbury Care Center had 4 Stars. I can totally understand why GCC is rated so highly after my mother spent weeks at GCC. The facility was clean, friendly with great meals. Thanks to all the wonderful staff for knowing their business and taking the best care and rehabbing my mom for assisted living.

My Uncle has been a resident of this facility for several years. He has absolutely had the best care. He has several family members that visit him regularly at all hours of the day, night and weekends. The nursing staff are very responsive and caring. The activities are wonderful, the food is great (you can get substitute items when you want them) and the therapy staff are tops in our book! They facility is kept up and updated regularly. Last winter, the lobby and dining room had some renovations that are just beautiful. We are very grateful for the care and attention my uncle has received.

The Care Center has been around for a long time and of course there have been ups and downs just like every nursing home I have ever dealt with. The Care Center has an administrator who is incredible the way she handles day to day inside such a big facility. In fact, everyone in management that I have had dealings with have been professional, knowledgeable and just doggone nice! My older friend who lives there loves it and I've never seen her happier since she had to leave her home. The rooms are nice-sized, they have more activities than I've ever seen at any nursing home and the new dietary staff are making a difference. I've heard no complaints from my friend about the food.

Granbury Care Center

Granbury Care Center is a beautiful place. I had the privilege of attending the ribbon cutting a few months ago. The rooms are newly remodeled larger than most and very clean. They have a large rehab physical therapy area. I was able to talk to the staff and they were very kind. Calendar of events that the residence enjoy include daily activities, shopping, crafts, Family Easter Egg Hunts and more. This would definitely be the place for my loved one.
