I toured The Renaissance at Kessler Park. It is a smaller facility. I didn't specifically ask how many beds there were, but it's relatively small and local. It's in a community, between homes and an apartment building, not on busy streets or in business areas. I like that. It's going to be close to people that she knows. All of that was good. We didn't do the meals or menus. The staff seems very friendly and well-knowledgeable. The staff who accommodated us were great. They were friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. They can accommodate my mother there. There were other places we went where we didn't feel like she was a good fit. I didn't see a library. They had a game room, a social room, and an activity center. Their rooms are like a bedroom, not like an apartment, and her room will be shared. Private ones are only with private pay. However, my mom is on Medicaid. It's more like a homey setup, though.
