My mother goes to Alexian Brothers, and she likes it. She goes every day, and the bus picks her up and returns her. The have Bible study, they play Bingo, and they feed her. She gets breakfast and snacks throughout the day, and she likes the food. I don’t have to take her out to doctor’s appointments; all the doctors are right there.

We got family members to stay with us for my mother, and she got to a daycare at Alexian Brothers - a paid program three days a week. She loves it. They have a little beauty shop there. They play bingo, and they have a little workout room. They provide all the medications. The doctors are there on-site. It’s a godsend. She could go there every day, but we keep her home two days a week. She stays six to eight hours a day there. The first day we went we had a sit-down conference with everybody that would be involved in her care. They came out to her house and checked it out to put some safety equipment in the bathroom. They’re very patient oriented. It’s great. We take her and pick her up, but they would do that as well. They offer that service for free. The place is very clean. They serve two meals and a snack to her. There’s plenty of staff to take care of the people that are there. They try to keep them busy; they have activities. They dispense their medicines to them while they’re there. They fill out their prescriptions there free of charge and send them home with them. I would recommend them highly.

If there are angels on earth, they're employed at PACE! I cannot say enough about how great this facility is. I wouldn't trust the care of my mother to just anyone, but I know they care for her with the same care and concern I do. If I could rate them over 5 stars I would! My mother has severe stage alzheimers and has been a participant there over 7 years. Any one thinking about a day care facility for family, you could not make a better choice!
