Although not as upscale as an assisted living facility, this nursing home impressed me tremendously. My father would visit weekly to pastor to the elderly, who enjoyed it thoroughly. When I went with him, they always seemed happy, cheerful, and it took away the "nursing home" feeling that I usually get when entering such a place. The atmosphere makes up for any nursing home label that can be put on the Cambridge House.
