My parents are already at The Inn on Westport and they're super excited to be there. The people that are there are the best, they're wonderful. One of the gals came in on her day off, because they didn't have transportation available, and they helped get my dad get a chair picked out that he needed to sleep. They didn't have their furniture yet, so the staff went over and above. They've been great. In terms of the food, my parents have reported that if you are hungry, it's your own fault. They just did a large remodel, and my parents got a remodeled room. My parents have reported that they just think it's nice. They have met a lot of people, however, they had a COVID breakout. So for the last four days, they haven't had much chance to get into the activities, but they're having food service brought to their rooms. They're allowed to move about, but not in large groups. They have concerts and tons of things to do, they just haven't been there for long. They have an open atrium area, it's pretty from the pictures and my folks thought that it was pretty too. I think it's reasonably priced and certainly, a better price than it is out here in Washington state, which is another motivation for moving them. So, I think for the dollar, it's wonderful. I talked to the person that came in on her day off to help facilitate their comfort, and had gone over the activities with me. And I'm positive there's plenty for them to do, and they've already gotten them in some strengthening physical therapy that they provide right there. And it's not an extra cost is part of their rent.

We had an in-person tour of The Inn on Westport. The staff members were friendly, and they knew their jobs. The place is immaculate. They have all of the amenities. They have church services. What we liked is that you didn't know that assisted and independent were different because you don't have to move from one wing to another. The facility is 26 years old, but it looked brand new. It's close to malls and not too far away from hospitals. The rooms are adequate.

The staff at The Inn on Westport was very friendly. The place was very clean and comforting. The residents seemed happy. The only thing that I dislike is my mother doesn't have much money and they do not accept Medicaid, but the people were very nice. They were busy cleaning and taking the garbage out. There were people in the room doing activities, puzzles, and stuff like that. They showed me around and the rooms and everything else, and everything was nice. I didn't see anything wrong with anybody.

The rooms at The Inn on Westport were clean and nice sized. The facility itself was bright and airy, and the residents were pleasant. Their menu looked good, and the dining area looked spacious and inviting. The lady who gave the tour was incredibly pleasant, answered all of our questions, and gave us materials. She followed up with a 'thank you' card. She's very professional and very nice. The apartment looked like it had everything that somebody would need. There was plenty of room. You've got choices, whether you want an outside view or a view of this really wonderful atrium. They all looked good. They're renovating now, so they're in the process of updating them. Everything looked clean and things were in place. So, it was a good tour experience.

My sister is currently staying in The Inn on Westport. When my sisters and I did the tour, we were all very favorably impressed with their friendliness and the atrium in the facility. All of the people we met while we toured were so open and friendly. The rooms were generously sized. We felt that my sister would be very content there, and she appears to be. I did try the food. My sister is very pleased with it. She said it's very tasty, and she's happy. It's important to us that she likes the food. One of the primary reasons my sister preferred it is because it seemed to be a little more intimate. It also contains a Parkinson's program, and she has been diagnosed with Parkinson's; that was definitely one of the things that was important to her. Another reason was the attractiveness of this atrium. They have a lovely atrium that allows the residents to enjoy the plants, the fountain, and activities regardless of the weather (that one is of considerable interest to my sister). The facility was older, immaculately maintained, very attractive, comfortable, and very welcoming. I don't know anything about the activities, but I saw evidence that they had libraries, music, and a card room. They had an activities director, so I have to make the assumption that there are activities. They are excellent.

I'm at The Inn on Westport now. I like it very much. They serve three meals a day. I have a two-bedroom apartment, and it is very nice. The staff is really nice and very helpful. They have bingo, they show movies, and they have a beauty salon and a couple of libraries. They accept visitors, but there are restrictions.

My father lived in the memory care unit. The environment is very homelike and the rooms are large with lots of windows for light. The staff here are wonderful! They take the time to really get to know the person living there and find activities they like to do. They are truly caring individuals. I always felt comfortable with him living there because I felt that Dad was among friends.

My father lived in the memory care unit. The staff are very friendly to family members and take very good care of their residents. My dad was restless often and paced about the unit. They were so awesome and patient with him and would work to find things to keep him occupied and happy. I can't say enough about the nursing staff. The building is beautiful and clean; and the food is really good also.

My mother-in-law came from a place called Westport Inn which is an assisted living, but they don't offer additional care. She had to be moved from there. The reason she had to go was because they couldn't provide the extra level of care that she needed as an advanced Alzheimer's patient. The choice for South Dakota is go to a nursing home. She is from South Dakota, but the other choices were so bad that we decided to move her to Oklahoma. The facility is gorgeous. It is like a resort. The staff was terrible. They were understaffed with bitter attitudes and lack of care. They simply cannot provide the needs for advanced Alzheimer's patients. She was on the Alzheimer's floor, so they didn't get a choice of the food. The rest of it is assisted living, and the food in the dining room did look beautiful for everybody else. As far as the food that she was given, you can't complain, but it's not fit for a person with Advanced Alzheimer's who can't cut their food. They can't eat it without assistance, but there was nothing wrong with the food.

My experience with this provider has been nothing but positive. Everytime I talk to my grandma, she mentions how much she likes it. She has made so many friends and just has so many activities that she can do. I talked to her about the staff and she thinks they are just fantastic and so willing to do everything she needs. They always seem to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure she feels like this is HER home. I don't know what all her amenities are but she has plenty of opportunities to get out of her home and see the other people that live there and she really enjoys that. She likes bingo the most. She says the food is always good, and has never had a bad experience. She has some pretty strict dietary restrictions and they always do a good job with those. She really enjoys staying here.
