"I toured Charter Senior Living of Northpark Place. It was clean. It looked well-preserved. The front desk was friendly. They asked me if they could help me, so they were professional. When I talked to the director, she was forthcoming with what information I needed. It was a good experience all around. The living spaces looked pretty nice and clean. I could see outside pretty well, and it was a nice setting."

"Whispering Creek Retirement Community is a great place and my sister and her husband say the food is fabulous. The people are friendly. Everybody is nice. They're just really happy with it. Since it's an independent living, there are not a lot of organized activities, but they're happy with what there is. There are movies and all kinds of stuff. Their room is nice and huge. It's a two-bedroom two-bath. They've got a gym and a movie theater. It was not that expensive. My sister likes the staff. One of the nicest features is transportation. If they have appointments or if they want to go shopping somewhere, they take them if they want them to. To me, that is nice because living in Northern Great Plains, the weather could be really bad and they don't have to worry about getting themselves anywhere. I'd be more than happy to move in there myself."

"About 10 years ago my aunt was in a car accident. She suffered some brain damage and has problems with her right hip and right knee which makes walking difficult. My family decided that it was best to put her in assisted living. After some searching it was decided to put her in Park Place. The facility is nice, but not exciting. It doesn't have a lot of really special amenities, but the basics are there: labs, 24 hour nursing services, a good exercise program and daily and weekly programs and activities. Over time my family has come to appreciate the staff. They are professional, but relate well to the residents. My aunt has memory issues and the staff tolerate this very well. While it isn't the prettiest looking facility I have ever seen, it is one of the cleanest and it has operated with great professional care for the last 10 years. I am happy there is a professional place like this for my aunt to live it where she gets the care and comfort she needs. "
