"My father had come to place in his journey when he was no longer able to care for himself, he did not want to leave his home, he had already had so many things he had to give up. Being able to have the care he needed in his home was such a blessing. King caring people who have become "family" are now beside us on our journey. My appreciation for the services which help keep seniors in their own comfortable surroundings. "

"I used Eli Home Care to help with my sister's care while I was at work. She was unable to do normal household chores due to her illness and they were a Godsend. Laundry, light cleaning and doing the grocery shopping was a tremendous blessing. When I couldn't take off work for 1 of her appointments, they even transported her to her doctor. The young lady that was her caregiver was always prompt courteous and I could tell that it was more than just a job for her. She truly cared. I would definitely recommend this company. "

Comfort Keepers Mission Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest level of quality of life that is achievable. We shall treat each of our clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though we were caring for a member of our own family. The special people who deliver our unique brand of in-home senior care (We call them *Comfort Keepers*.) are carefully selected, screened, and trained to provide professional, compassionate care. About Our Office Comfort Keepers of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, began operating as a home health agency in 2005, serving seniors and their families in and around Sioux Falls, Brandon, Dell Rapids, Hartford, Canton and Beresford. The Sioux Falls Comfort Keepers franchise was founded with the goal of providing seniors high quality, personalized care with a staff of professional, compassionate senior caregivers dedicated to providing each client the caring attention they would provide a family member of their own. These senior caregivers, and the positive results they achieve for their clients, have earned Comfort Keepers a great deal of respect in the Sioux Falls region. We hire only experienced caregivers who have a heartfelt desire to serve seniors. We refer to these senior caregivers as Comfort Keepers. They consider senior caregiving a calling – not a job. Our Philosophy Interactive Caregiving is based on four primary pillars, which Comfort Keepers leverage to care for, engage, and interact with our clients: An active senior mind promotes independence, better mental and physical health, happiness, and a longer life. A physically active senior maintains strength and independence, lessening or delaying the effects of aging. A well-nourished senior is more energetic, both physically and mentally. A safe senior lives in an environment that reduces the likelihood of accidents and promotes timely response when illness or accidents occur. With our Interactive Caregiving approach, we are able to raise seniors’ quality of life to a much higher level than typical in-home care providers.

Given the high cost of in-home care, many people use one or more forms of financial assistance to cover the expenses. Below, we explain some of the most common sources of financial help for paying for in-home care. If none of these options are available to you, you can reach out to your Area Agency on Aging or Aging and Disability Resource Center to learn about local resources.

There are many services and programs that are low-cost or free, that enable seniors to enjoy an independent lifestyle in the comfort of their own home, such as help with home modifications, meal delivery services, and more. Below, we’ve compiled a few of the most helpful resources in Sioux Falls:
