NHC Health Care of Clinton

I was at NHC Healthcare of Clinton for a while under doctors' care and they treated me real well right there. All of it went real well. It was clean, the staff was adequate, and the food was good.

My sister-in-law is in long-term care at National Healthcare in Clinton. It is very nice. We are very happy with it. We have been very satisfied with the care that she is getting and the people over there. They set up doctors' appointments and medications. They also have activities for residents to do like Bingo and karaoke. They keep them occupied. If my sister-in-law wants to go outside, she can because they have an outside area and a picnic area. And if they don't want to go out, they have a screened-in area for them. They serve three meals a day. There's a dining room if my sister-in-law wants to go, and if not, then they'll bring the food to her room.

I did not know anything about nursing Homes. I visited NHC. It is very neat and clean. The The staff, Nurses, Nurse Practioners as well as our personal physician were always friendly and helpful. One day when I was having a difficult time dealing with all this, one of the assistant nurses gave me a biig hug. I am so thankful for their team.

My husband received very good care in this facility. he also received excellent therapy.

NHC is an assisted living home for the elderly for which my great grandmother of my fathers side stayed before she died and my grandmother of my mother is currently residing. The staff at NHC in Clinton are very friendly and have a genuine concern for the well-being of my grandmother and it's other patients. Not only are they concerned for the patients but they are in constant communication with us the family on current issues with my grandmother. The amenities and facilities are great and I cannot say one negative thing or experience that I have witnessed while visiting there. Overall I think that NHC of Clinton is a good model of what assisted living should be. If I had to choose a place for me to stay when I am in elderly shape I would be pleased if this were to be chosen as my assisted living home.
