"Smiths Personal Care Home was a lovely little home. The staff are very friendly and seem to really care. They would frequently sit and talk to the patients and families.The home is small but that allows for more time with each patient. The town the home is in is very small and felt very homey and friendly. My mother was well taken care of here and never had a complaint. She enjoyed the activities that they had.The patients were bathed regularly and laundry was washed on a daily basis. A piano was frequently used in the living area and alot of patients would sit around it as it was played. The home was very clean and smelled pretty good. The home was also modern and had a large tv for patient enjoyment. The food here is good and freshly made.Pets were brought in for the theraputic benefits for all patients. Overall this is a very nice little home and I would recommend it to others. "

"We’ve been to Bradford County Manor several times because that’s where my uncle stayed. It’s a 30-minute drive from Waverly. Everything was right on par. It was brightly lit, furnished, and up to date. The staff was courteous and kind. The rooms were very nice. Somebody goes in twice a day to pick up, and look around, not leaving anything on the floor where they could trip. It seemed very well maintained. "

"My aunt was in Valley View Nursing Center for rehabilitation. They brought her back, I think they went out of their way. She was only there a short time, they're pretty good overall, you get full care, but it costs double than the other places. They would let you come into the little community room, with a self testing thing, where you could spend half an hour with your loved one, and that was nice. They always seemed to have really good food, and all their accommodations were good. I never had problems with the staff."

"I went to The Meadows. The appearance is very beautiful. It looks like a grand hotel. It has a big front porch, and it's out in the country (which is very beautiful). The rooms are good size. The dining room is big, and so is the community room. It seems like they offer a lot of activities. The staff was very, very nice, and very helpful. They have a big community room where they said they can go and play game and bingo. They have a big piano there that somebody probably comes and entertains them."

"The dementia unit of Loyalsock Creek was awfully small. There wasn't enough room in the common area for the people. It was very crowded. We didn't really get to go in a room, but from what I could see, they seemed large enough. It was a very old place, and they were going through renovations, but I just wasn't pleased with the whole dementia area. I didn't think it was well supervised. I didn't like the way they had it set up for residents to eat their meals. It was more like a cafeteria rather than a dining room. The place my mother is now is more of a dining room. My sister and I did not like the setup at all. The staff was very upbeat and very friendly. "

"My mom moved into Bedrock Care Williamsport South Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. There are a couple of minor concerns, but they are working through them. The facility is nice, clean, and well-run. The staff is very friendly and very helpful, and that goes from the administration folks all the way to the people that come in to take my mom to the bathroom."

"I have been in Manorcare for eight months now. The staff is very well, very knowledgeable, very friendly, and very helpful. I am very grateful to everybody. They have an excellent therapy. They are very professional and everything. The whole building is very clean. The food is good. I have not been to any of the activities, but they have an entertainment room and craft room. "

"My aunt has been in Fernwood Manor for about eight weeks now, and she says that she’s going to stay here for a while. It’s all on one floor with pretty long the hallways. If my aunt wants to exercise, she could walk down to the end of the hallway, turn around and come back a couple of times, and she’s good to go. The food is made on-site, so it's not the stuff that’s delivered nor processed food, and they’re allowed to have snacks, as well. She does bingo almost every other day, which she’s enjoying. They told me that she actually went to try and play the piano, which is another good thing. She’s considered a diabetic, so they feed her accordingly. She has a bigger room, and the most important thing for her is that it’s $1,200 cheaper than what she was paying at the last facility. "

"Ann's Grove Personal Care Home is a nice place. The food is good and the staff is very nice. They have bingo and crafts. They have a library. My room is clean."

"My husband has been in Orangeville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for a month now. Just like every nursing home in the area, they need more people to work there and they're looking. Right now, I don't think they're hiring anybody extra because of COVID. Everything's kind of shut down for now, but he's adjusting. He's enjoying having a roommate. The nurses are wonderful. The staff is exceptional. The only problem is they don't have enough people working there and I'm pretty sure that's the case everywhere. The food is OK, some days are better than others. It's very clean, but they do not have central air, which completely boggles my mind. When Medicare was finished with their 20 days of providing physical therapy, they told me that from then on, it would cost me $400 a day for two hours of physical therapy and that really kind of blew my mind. The staff members are very nice, and they're working very hard. They're trying to take care of everybody as best they can with the time that they have. Yesterday, the dinner was beautiful. They have an outside area that looks very nice. They have some areas with nice big windows so that they can look out on the outdoors, which is nice. I just think they charge more than anybody else around or at least no less."

"I am a resident of The Williamsport Home's independent living. I chose it because of the price, it was the lowest I found anywhere. Another thing is the campus itself because I liked being in an outdoor setting. My apartment is very nice and spacious. I get one meal a day and the food is pretty good. The residents and the staff are friendly. They even clean off your windshield when it snows. They have a wellness doctor who spends time with each person's exercise program. He conducts exercise classes four times a week, too. The staff usually responds to concerns or if there's something wrong in the apartments. They're pretty good about that. The place is very clean. I think it's on 34 acres of property. I'm on a balcony that overlooks the woods and there are green places to walk around. That's one of the things I like about this community. When you go outside, you have beautiful trees, beautiful flowers, and a lot of nature. For activities, they have exercise and bingo. Once a month, they have a city bus here and all the residents who want you to go out to dinner at a local restaurant could go. There's usually about 40 of us who go. On top of that, the city bus stops here five times a day."

"My mother-in-law is in Star Hill Rest Home, and I am definitely pleased. They staff is very personable. It's set up more like a home as opposed to a nursing home. The rooms are fine. They play bingo and are brought snacks or treats besides the regular meals. "

"Roseview Manor was clean and nice. They had nice big rooms, two rooms that are enough for us. They provide three meals a day, and I like the setup of the dining area. I think it’s a nice, small place, and I will recommend this to others. "
