We are very pleased with the care and attention our father recieves at Twin Oaks...The staff are very helpful and attentive, the food is home cooked, the place is immaculate and the residents get along well...For the price you cannot possibly find better.

When I went to go see my grandfather, who is a resident at the Twin Oaks Personal Care Home, I was not very pleased with the way they treat their clients. He asked for a pitcher of water, and was made to wait for nearly an hour for it. By time he got it, he was very thirsty, and the nurse's excuse was that she was busy with other patients, and that water wasn't a top priority when there were people with "worse illnesses than alzheimers". I also do not approve of the way they feed their patients. My grandfather was given a meal, and told to feed himself. I am just wondering what would be the case if he could not feed himself. Would he starve? I would not recommend this personal care home to anyone. We have relocated him to a home, and we are very happy with the decision.
