Sherwood Retirement and Personal Care Home is a "private pay" home established in 1999 by owners and administrators Jim and Karen Sherwood, who reside in the home as well. Initially we had one wing, our East wing and later in 2003 we expanded our home to include a West wing to give us a total of 24 private /semi-private bedrooms. This expansion also included a formal dining room, sitting room, parlor, living room, family room and additional laundry space. We maintain a commercial well and septic system for the personal care home and we are currently licensed for 27 residents. We are situated on 38 acres of land 1.9 miles East of the red light on Route 414 in Canton, Pa. Our facility is all ground floor access and living, has spacious flat maintained grounds, many patios, wide sidewalks and sits a good ways back away from the main highway. We believe we're the right choice when considering a retirement and personal care home. We want to help you make the right decision for your individual situation.
