The staff are amazing!!! Sweet, kind, attentive!!! They interact with residents respectfully and kindly. Their is a lot of activities for residents and staff is readily available when residents need them.

My mother has been in Sena Kean Manor since June. Her father had been there, a couple other members of her family had been there and although it's five hours away and super inconvenient, she likes it there. She actually has a lot more visitors there than she did when she was closer down this way because she has other family that's up there as well. It seems clean and the people seem friendly. The rooms and the hallways seem pretty spacious. She said the food was way better than the place she was at before (that's what she was most concerned about). She's sharing a room with a woman, and they seem to have enough room on either side. They offer activities, but she doesn't participate. She can afford it and she can still do the things that she wants to.

I think that this nursing home is an absolutely wonderful facility. The staff is very loving and caring towards every patient that is a resident there. The staff is comforting to both the patient and to the family members. When you enter the facility you immediately feel welcome and at home. They take time with each and every one of their residents. Each time we were there, the staff bent over backwards to see that we were taken care of along with our family member. They have areas where the residents can get together and play games, chat, etc...to spend quality time with each other instead of just being confined to their rooms. Every time we visit, we are not only greeted by smiles from the staff, we also are greeted with smiles and warm welcomes from the residents as well. I would highly recommend Sena Kean to anyone who needs an assisted living or nursing home environment for a loved one.
