"The Lutheran home in Kane is by far the best facility I have seen. The staff interacts with patients even in there free time like when they are on breaks. the halls have a homey feel about them and you get a family type feeling from everyone there. They meet with family's every so often to go over care plans so you can tailor your loved ones care to their needs. and at anytime you have a problem someone will talk to you to help work it out. There are a lot of activities for the residents and also outings for them. The grounds are well maintained the is a walkway the whole way around the building with flowers and bird feeders to enjoy. There is also a enclosed outdoor area for residents that might wander off. If you are looking for a assisted living facility I strongly urge you to look into the Lutheran home in Kane Pa. "

"These lovely people took great care of my Mothers friend, Irene, in her last few weeks of life. They were thoughtful, caring and compassionate. I am an RN with experiance in palliative care and I have never seen better. They are truly a team that puts their heart into their work. "

"For the most part I thought the Bradford Manor was a very nice place with friendly and caring staff. They have many activities through out the day and I saw that everyone was cared for at the best to the staffs abilities. Although, I did notice some clients being favored over others. I think it's important for the staff and clients to have a well established relationship and unfortunatly I didn't see a lot of that at this facility. The food is quite good but the way they serve could use some work. It only takes one mistake for everything to get backed up and that seems to happen all too often. The nursing aides are very friendly and well trained as they run classes in the same facility. I do think that sometimes the aides have a bit too much to do in such a short amount of time but that changes as the census changes. Over all I do think it's a wonderful place and I've never had any thoughts or reasons to believe that any abuse or neglect has gone on. I can tell this is a caring place. "

"My mom moved in to Heritage Green and it has been fine. They've been attentive and courteous, and food has been good. The atmosphere's fine and comfortable and they got things to do. The staff has been pleasant and they respond every time I have a question."

"My father stayed in the facility for about six weeks while recovering from surgery. The staff was wonderful; they were friendly and attentive. There were quite a few people in residence, and a somewhat limited staff, so sometimes it would take them a while to come to the room when they were called. My father was in the facility over Christmas, and they were very accommodating, allowing my family to bring Christmas dinner and celebrate with him in the communal dining area. The staff decorated for the holiday, but despite their best efforts, the facility still appeared rather stark and sterile. My father had a roommate, and there was not much in the way of privacy; just a thin curtain between their living areas. While I don't think my family would send my father to this facility for long-term care, they took very good care of him during his recovery. "

"Cory Manor was full, and there's a waiting list. They're still short on staff. It's not great, but it's better than others. I understand it's hard to get staff members in nursing homes. The rooms are nice. They just redid the facility, and it's clean. "
