"My mother was at Lutheran for four weeks. They were fine. The staff members were good. I think some of them could use some training with dementia patients, but that's really not their job. It probably would be nice if they had some dementia resources. They were very good at the rehab, but my mother was not an easy patient. The staff members were good. They did their job and met my mother's needs. They had the same activities. My mother had a private room and liked most of the foods."

"We chose Orchard Grove Residences for my mother because it looked very nice and comfortable, and everybody seemed very friendly. We thought she'd be happy there. She said the food is always good. She has done exercise classes, and they have a TV area where the residents sit around if they don't want to stay in their room. She has a small apartment, but it's big enough that she can have some of her own furniture in there besides what was already in there. They provide a bed, a dresser, a wardrobe for her clothing, a rocking chair, a little table, and a TV. We brought in her own lounge chair. It's a really nice apartment, and the bathroom is quite large."

"My mother was very interested in a private room. She didn't want to share a room because she can't get around well. However, all the private rooms at Randolph Manor had like four steps down into the room and the bathrooms were shared across the hall, so they weren't private bathrooms. So my mother was not impressed at all with that, but the staff was very, very pleasant, and very nice. The dining facilities also looked nice. They were a lot smaller, but it's actually a much smaller facility. It was set up for lunch time and it looked very clean and it smelled clean. They also had nice areas for the residents to meet, sit, and visit."

"Eden Heights of Eden is excellent, from the people in the office to the people working there. My mother-in-law is in assisted living. Her room is spacious, about 35 feet long, so it's a good sized room. Everybody's happy and joyful every time I'm there. From what I've seen and from what I've heard from my mother-in-law, the staff is excellent. They play ingo, they sing, and there's all kinds of different activities. There's something going on all the time."
