I am a resident that requires a considerable amount of assistance with all practices of getting through a day. The girls that take care of me here are so amazing and patient. The rooms are always cleaned which is so important to me since I am unable to do it myself. Anyone that works here will always greet you with a smile and make sure you are taken care of. I've been here several years and the new administrator shows genuine care in everything she does. Thank you everyone for making this a home.

My mother-in-law moved into Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield. The place is very nice, and they treat her well. However, there was a surprise thousand dollars administration fee at the beginning that they didn't tell me about. They said they forgot. Other than that, I can't say anything wrong. She's wheelchair-bound, but they do have piano things for activities. They say it's all-inclusive, but they charge you for the rubber gloves, and they charge you for Depends. They charge for a lot of things after they advertise all-inclusive, and I didn't quite understand that. I guess maybe it's just the food that's inclusive. For safety, you need a code to get in and out.

I became knowledgeable of this facility a year ago through this website. I live out of state so I flew up and toured the facility while visiting my parents. As I knew more continuous care would be needed for my parents in the next year or so,due to declining health issues. They are persistent to stay in that area. Currently they have some in home care through the day. The facility looked beautiful and modern. Last year when i was up touring the administrator an older lady greeted me as soon as I entered. Although she was pleasant she seemed all over the place during my discussion with her and was unable to answer alot of my questions. She finally connected me with the sales leader (I dont recall her name) but she was friendly and knowledgeable. I just wasn't ready for my parents placement at that time. I flew back up to the area last week and just stopped in to get a site refresher as the time is getting closer. Staff greated me with smiles. I was greeted with such warmth. Staff spoke about the positive changes that were recently occuring with new administration. The staff introduced me to the new administrator of the facility. I simply can not put into words how at ease I felt speaking with her. I felt like i was being treated like a human and not a transaction. That hasnt always been the case visiting some other places. She was a breath of fresh air during such a stressful time in life. Great addition for this facility. The sales leader wasn't in at the time but that was okay I didn't have alot of time and just stopped in for a visual. I'll be back up at the end of July. Visiting there twice now and seeing the positive changes I will feel 100 percent comfortable living in another state knowing my parents will be well taken care of. High praises goes out to this facility and the staff.

We are looking right now at Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield, but we haven't made a firm decision. It was closer to my mother's home, so she knew the people there. The facilities they provide were pleasant. They had a salon, they had a sunroom, and they had activity rooms. It was very nice. I can say it was very clean. It's actually near hospitals and there are restaurants within a 4-mile radius.

Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield was a nice place. It's just a little bit farther than we wanted to go. Their rooms were a nice size and my mom liked it. It was very clean and the people were very nice. They answered all our questions, were very cordial, went right to the point on everything, and showed us everything that was about the whole place. The dining area was also very clean and very well equipped.

I toured Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield and spoke to the lady there. I've pretty much chosen that place once they have an opening because it would be so much closer to me. It was very clean, very friendly, and very caring. The staff who gave me the tour was very accommodating to my daughter, my little grandson, and me. She was very professional and very knowledgeable. They're very wonderful. The rooms were exceptional. They were clean, and there was no odor anywhere. They were private rooms with bathroom facilities right there in the room. They were very nice and very home-like. They had an enclosed patio, too.

I toured Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield, and that was very nice, but it was out of my price range. Everything was very nice. The main thing that held me against them was that I couldn't afford it. They had planned activities for them. They had arts and crafts and they do bingo. They'll have scheduled outings and all that. It would have been the most convenient for me, but it was just the pricing of it. The staff was very helpful. They had a library and a salon. Another thing with them was that everything that you chose was an extra cost.

Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield was very nice. The physical appearance of the community was perfect. It didn't look like there was a bit of dust and dirt. The staff was very informative and very nice. They showed me activities that the residents had made. They were Christmas decorations, and they had them hanging on their own doors. The room was nice and big. The memory care doesn't have the sink and the refrigerator, but the other part of the building does. The facility looks beautiful on the outside and the inside. I didn't meet a whole lot of staff, but everybody seemed happy there and seemed like they were well taken care of.

Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield had a very comfortable, home-like atmosphere; it's all on one level. The staff was great. They had a variety of rooms with different sizes and options. They had single rooms and suites with a little kitchenette. The interaction among staff members and the residents was really nice to see. It was clean and well maintained. There were a lot of activities on the calendar. They had several different living areas where residents and visiting family members were sitting and talking. There were some outdoor courtyard type areas. The dining area looked really nice. We were very pleased with it.

Colonial Courtyard at Clearfield is very nice and spacious. My parents are from that area, so they may know people there. They have crafts and bus tours. There is a small mall closeby that they walk to sometimes in the morning. I met with the director, who was very helpful and gave me a lot of information. They provide three meals a day and have two common areas, one with a TV. They also have a kitchen for the residents. If you want to rent a room out with your family, you could. They have a local barber and a beautician who come in. They also have nurses and a bus service to take them to doctors' appointments.

Clearfield Colonial Courtyard was a combined nursing home and assisted living, but it was way too expensive. It's a very nice place. People there were very, very friendly, and it was very clean. But they go on a point system, and I didn't really understand how they can call themselves assisted living when my mother needs assistance with her shoes or getting dressed or getting her pills, that's a point that would cost her more. I mean if it's an assisted living, then everything should be included. I don't understand why they have a point system.
