Bridgewood Rivers Assisted Living

I toured Bridgewood Rivers Assisted Living. They offer assisted living, but I'm looking for independent living, so I would prefer to be in an area where there are more alert patients instead of confused ones. They were excellent, clean, very cooperative, and had very nice rooms. However, they have several air purifiers in every corridor, so that tells me they're trying to keep the odors down. The air purifiers were donated to them, too, so I wonder why somebody would donate air purifiers if they didn't have an odor.

I thought Bridgewood Rivers Assisted Living was very nice. One item that isn't normal is that the sliding doors were a little loose, but other than that, it was a nice place to visit. The staff members were all extremely very nice. The building was extremely clean, and the structure looked very solid. The one-bedroom apartment was a very good size. It was comfortable. I could fit my stuff in there if I was going to move there.

I was impressed with how clean Bridgewood Rivers was and how well everybody seemed to be in there. The residents seemed to be happy. It was a very good tour. They only had one place available, but the staff member went over everything with us as far as prices, gave me a good idea of what would happen if we ran out of money, and what they had planned for their community. She told me they were adding on a memory care unit. She was very nice and very informative. We didn't taste the food, but we went in to their dining room and they have a menu on display. Everybody knows what's going to be on the menu and you have a choice of new items (it's not a set thing). There's an activity center and there were some people in there doing different things. She was setting up for an activity which they are going to do. They have a beauty shop. They were very friendly and very nice. It's extremely clean for an assisted living facility.
