The facilities are very well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. The staff are friendly without being pushy or prying. They are helpful to both residents and visitors, treating all with respect and kindness. My aunt is very happy with the activities and opportunities for social interaction. Her private suite is very comfortable and she has it decorated just the way she wants. Although she misses her large home, she certainly does not miss the upkeep and work involved in taking care of her home. Instead she can relax and enjoy her living space, taking care of the potted plants she has, and knowing that someone will clean and take care of any maintenance issues. Both she and the family get peace of mind, too, knowing that medical assistance is right on site and caring staff visit her everyday to check on her. My aunt enjoys joining her fellow residents for meals in the main dining room, which is a short walk from her rooms, and she enjoys the variety and quality of food. She has made several friends, including one close friend with whom she spends a lot of time talking, crocheting, and doing jigsaw puzzles. We couldn't ask for a nicer place for our aunt to enjoy her sunset years.
