My wife was at Avamere Rehabilitation of Clackamas. It was a nice facility. I was satisfied with the experience. The personal care that my wife received from the caretakers there was very good. She was in a two-person room, but she was alone in the room, and it was very nice. She let me go in there and spend all the time I wanted to with her. They had an exercise room and a separate area where you could sit and talk without having a lot of other people around you. The staff was fantastic. They couldn't have done any better. They were good friends with my wife. It wasn't just a staff-patient relationship. It was more of a friendship. It was all covered by insurance.

Bare minimum care provided. Resident soiled self and sat in it, if family wasn’t there to assist to bathroom and/or change soiled brief. Long, long wait times before call button is answered. Management brags about “industry standards” when you try to address any concerns. Medications not always given on time. Short staffed. Dirty facility. Meals were questionable. Ordered PT and OT didn’t happen many days yet they billed for it.. Ridiculous over billing to Medicare for the very subpar care provided. Absolutely would never recommend anyone send a loved one here. Making myself find a positive I’ll say we did have some sweet CNA’s (who had to many residents assigned to them at once) and two different traveling agency nurses who were helpful.
