"My tour in Brookdale Redmond was limited only because my legs were bothering me that day and I couldn't walk that much, but I'd been there before, one other time, a couple of years ago, so I was kind of familiar with the way it was laid out and ran. It was all fives. I felt very comfortable and welcomed. No stress, no unusual noises or congestion. Joe was excellent. The dining area was roomy. There's plenty of room between tables, but it wasn't so huge that it was intimidating. It was comfortable. It's a well-run facility. It's very clean and quiet. I didn't have any complaints about anything. Nothing bothered me. The residents were just doing their normal coming and going and moving around. Many of them were like me, handicapped and needing walkers and wheelchairs and what have you. I'm 82, and it seemed to me most of the people were my age or older. They seemed comfortable and enjoyed their environment."

"We're moving into Sisters Senior Living. I enjoyed the place, and I look forward to it. Everything is convenient in the way it's put together. Things are very close to the door and where they want to meet people. The staff members are very helpful, kind and friendly. They were great in helping me get organized. The food was very good, too. They have different crafts and those were the activities that I was interested in."

"We are choosing Regency Village at Prineville for my sister. The rooms were clean and neat, and everything seemed nice. The residents there were happy. I could see that they were comfortable and well cared for. The staff I've talked to were very kind and very sweet. I talked to the nurse who needs to evaluate my sister, and she's very accommodating and very sweet, told me what they needed, and we're working out a way to get that done long distance. They've been just really easy and good people to work with. They've got washers and dryers available right there. They have an outside area where you can go and sit in the sun. They have all kinds of things that they do with the residents, like entertainment and trips out of the facility. They had pool tournaments and bowling in the hall."

"This small little community is such a gift. So many smiles and joy on the residents' faces. They have a lovely courtyard with a view of Pilot Butte, which also has some nice hiking trails and benches for picnics with family. They also have a wonderful security system in place for the safety of your loved one. These people truly care about the well-being of their residents."

"I toured Awbrey Place Assisted Living and Memory Care. It's excellent. It's very good. It's pleasant. The rooms are nice and accommodating. They have nice windows, and you can look out there, meaning out in a nice backyard, and it's like in a circle. It's designed well. Expert staff and friendly staff. The rooms are handy with all the things you need in it (at least the one we picked), and it will be easy to access. There's plenty of activities going on so that my husband can make friends easily and be comfortable. The staff members are very qualified people who know what they're doing in all levels of care."

"Mom's been at Ashley Manor for about two months now. I like that it is a smaller facility. I know they have some private and semi-private rooms; they are not really a good size, though. They don't really have any activities there. They have an activity board, but they never do any of the activities. They have a great living room. Most of the staff has been very helpful. Just like in any place, there are a few people you like the best, but overall they have been good. They cook all the food in their own kitchen, so I am pleased with the meals overall. I'd say they are well-balanced. I think that they can improve by hiring more staff. I think their staff has too much to do to really engage the clients in very meaningful activities. They are working very hard, but they are busy just taking care of the basics. They really don't have a lot of enrichment. "

"My Mom came from a horrible place to this business for the last 10 months of her life. She was happy, very well cared for and our family had quality time with her, until her passing in 2020. I can't say enough good about the owner. Honest to a fault, a fellow biker and a darn good human being all around!"

"Touchmark at Mount Bachelor Village was really good and nice. I loved the people there. They're lovely. I loved the location. I think the facility is beautiful, nice, and clean. There's nothing bad you can say about it. It's up to date. The staff is amazing. Everybody is just lovely. Liz is great. She's been there quite a while and she's wonderful. They had a bar. They had a lot of educational stuff and tours and so on and I think that's so wonderful. They also have stimulating lectures and great events. Nothing's demeaning. The club is close by. It's great and it doesn't smell."

"Rooms are spacious, the staff are very personable and caring to all the residents. The meals are homemade, not from a box, and good size portions. The Activities person stays very involved with the residents and the activities are great."

"Ashley Manor - Rimrock appears clean and well organized. It's a little small, but that's what they were looking for for my stepmom, so that's what we chose. The service has been fine. We do have one issue that's going on, but they are trying to address that for us. I've seen the residents do coloring sheets. Some of the residents enjoy it and some of them don't."

"My mother-in-law is in Juniper Springs Senior Living. It's excellent. The staff is excellent and professional. If my mom would go to an assisted living place, I definitely would send her there. I have never tried their food. I just heard excellent things about their food. They have everything from assisted living to memory care and it's all really incredible. They have some independent living as well from my understanding. They have all kinds of activities. I've never been on their activities, but I've seen them. The activities director seems to definitely know what the elderly want. In comparison to the other places, they're definitely an excellent facility."

"Prairie House is a wonderful "home" for my mother. They have been kind in every way to mom and her family. We just had a move to memory and it could not have gone smoother."
