Dogwood Creek Retirement Center was a little older, but it was nice. I visited a friend and church members there, and there were so many people there. It's a larger facility, clean, and well kept. It had a library and it had various activities for people to do. I know they had church services and bible study. They had a dining hall and the staff was pleasant.

Dogwood Creek is a little bit cheaper, but they have a good facility. There is a central dining room and then the hallways are off the main deals with apartments off in each one of the hallways. The physical appearance of the facility is excellent. The staff were very knowledgeable in their facility. I toured the whole facility, and they showed me the two-bedroom, the one-bedroom, and the studio. They showed me one that I was really interested in because I have a little Yorkie dog and he would be permitted there. They showed me an apartment that opened onto a courtyard where I could take him out. I didn't eat the meals there. I went through the cafeteria and it looked very enticing. It looked like the food was well prepared, but I didn't sample any food. They have a library and a reading room. They have a bus service or van service to take you out to do personal shopping to the local stores. They take you to your doctors' appointments.

The facility is run down and owners don’t seem to want to put money in it. The heat and air is old and many of the apartments have window units and floor heaters. There is a huge turnover in employees. The grounds are always wet due to it being built In a low spot. There is no handicap entrance and exit. Just very disappointed.

My mother in law loves being there. They seem to have constant activities and visitors to the Courtyard like the Traveling Barnyard. They have group crafts and activities brought to their doors now! Even room service is available right to their door now. The staff is always nice and helpful to help her remember to take her prescriptions as well.

My parents are living at Dogwood Creek and my mother in law was also there several years ago. A quote from my mother in law was "I feel like a queen." My parents are enjoying living there. The facility is very clean and the food is quite good.

My father is at Dogwood Creek, a large senior living facility. They wash your clothes and clean your room. The place is clean and $3,000 cheaper than any other places around here. They take my father to all his doctor's apartment and to Walmart for supplies that they need. They're outstanding. They have bingo, a library, and a media room. He loves the food since they make what he wants and give him choices. They give, order, and administer his medications to him. I like it.

Dogwood Creek was plain. The rooms are fine and have a balcony outside. The place was clean, and the people were reasonable. The food seemed okay and presentable.

My mom is already in Dogwood Creek. Their price is more reasonable than others, that's why we chose this place for her. She also has all of her church friends living around in Muskogee. The facility is very clean. The people there are really nice. They have a nurse that supervises my mom's medications. The staff would also remind her when to eat in case she forgot. They're just really taking good care of her there.

Kind, caring staff, met all our expectations from day 1. My mother loves living there, has a healthy appetite enjoys the meals, is a social person, so activities that are provided help her to become more involved and provide mental stimulation. Her overall health has improved largely due to the excellent environment and caring staff.
