"We visited the memory care and assisted living facilities here. It's great. We liked it a lot. It's very nice, welcoming, and friendly. They provide a lot of amenities, and it's the best one that we visited. We only met one staff member and she was nice. We saw a lot of residents congregating in areas and outside of just the dining space, and they seemed friendly with one another."

"I visited Sage Park Memory Care & Transitional Assisted Living. I was only there an hour or so, but I'd have to say that it was very clean. It didn't have any kind of odor. They seemed to have a lot of activities on their activity list. It was a very nice facility. They have one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and studios. They have a theater, a beauty salon, and a little area where they have some parties. They have a couple places for people that are in wheelchairs to get baths. It had big showers where you wheel them into. I didn't really talk to any staff, except the woman that was showing me around."

"We toured Rittenhouse Village Gahanna. The staff and the residents are friendly. There's an open dining area. It seemed like there were activities that were going on. We did like the facilities. I did like the walk-in shower which is for people with mobility issues, they're going to need walk-in showers, and things like that. The room seemed to be big enough and brightly lit. They'd just come out for the activities. They can come out and be social. They can go on field trips. They can come out three times a day and get meals. It's not a new facility. They said that they were going to be pulling up work or doing some renovation. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I like how she followed up to see if we needed anything or had any questions, and I think that's good. It looks like she valued our business. She seemed to know the resident's name."

"I went to tour. I looked at both their assisted living and memory care. It was very clean. The rooms were nice. They were very accommodating to meet your needs. They had activities. They had menus so that if the seniors that were there didn't like what was being served, they can choose something off from the menu, so that was a plus. It was good. They made sure the rooms were bright, and they had windows so that they could look out. They had their own little doors and you could decorate them to try to make them feel at home like bring in their own pictures and whatever, and they help you do that."

"Our family is a great fan of this facility, where both of my parents lived for about 5 years. Top-notch care, friendly people, good food - just a very supportive and healthy environment. My parents were very happy here, and, so were we, knowing they were in great hands. "

"We visited Cherry Blossom and I wish now we would have taken that step with them instead of the one we took with my sister's current facility, because Cherry Blossom is a one-story building. We could have possibly looked through the window at her and said hello. My sister thinks we just left her because we can't visit her in her current facility. They showed us rooms when we visited. The rooms were great. The whole complex was just as good as I thought in another facility, and I expected a little bit better I think. We looked at the assisted living because my sister is well enough that she doesn't have to go into memory care. That's what everybody thinks, that she's well enough not to go to memory care, so that's why she didn't actually go in there. We've seen the rooms. They were very nice. We've also seen the dining room, the bistro, the exercise room, and the salon."

"Brookdale Westerville was a lovely place. It's just a very, very small community. Everybody was friendly. The facility was pretty and had a lovely little interior garden. It just had a very, very inviting atmosphere. I even talked to some of the residents, and they joked around with me a little bit. It was very nice. They have an activity room, which is neat. I was kind of there in the early evening, so they're watching the news. The staff was very friendly."

"I used them for respite care for two weeks. My mom has been there before. The staff was very good, and they took care of her. "

"I went to Westerwood. I think they did a really good job. They gave me a good tour. I went there and had lunch with them and talked with them. I had a lot of time to talk with them about stuff. Overall, I think it's a very good place. The thing I liked the least was the money, that it takes a lot of money to go there, and it's very difficult for me. I'm going to have to go to a really small apartment. As far as good things, it had very good things. I just was very pleased with what was there and the activities that they have for people. I thought it was very clean. The food was OK; it was good. The staff was wonderful, all of them. They have a lot of classes. They have an art room, which I'm really interested in."

"I toured. I liked that it's a smaller group, and they focused on their residents and didn't just leave them in the corner. I liked their dining area. It was very nice with the linen tablecloths and nice glasses. It was just a nice atmosphere. There was a beauty salon, and they had church services. I thought it was just a very cozy place."

"I think it was on a Sunday morning when we were at Woodlands. I'm sure they had activities but I don't recall seeing any. The individual that gave us the tour was the only staff person. The rooms were very nice, they were spacious enough. We walked through the dining room, there were just a couple of tables occupied at that time. "

They really care about each resident and it shows in their smiles, love and going the extra mile to help with whatever is needed. The facility is very clean, the apartments are well kept and spacious, the food is outstanding, the actives are well planned, and fun, and all who live in the community are very welcoming and kind. My mom needed to get back into the world and engage with her peers and this was the perfect fit! I highly recommend Story Point if your are looking for Independent Living for your loved one! "My mother-in-law has moved into The Ashford on Broad. We chose it because she was comfortable with that area and she wanted to be near where some of her friends could come and visit her and not have to go a long way. Her apartment features are beautiful. She has a balcony where she can go out and look out over the courtyard. She seems to enjoy the food. If they make something that she doesn't want to eat, she can order ahead before that lunch period, and then she can order something else if she looks at the menu. They have programs that are designed for inside, and then they go on bus trips to different places, on the van. They take them to shopping centers. They take them to little outings like ice cream places and stuff. The facility is very nice and very clean. For an independent, you get your room cleaned once a week. They take the trash out of your apartment every day. They take care of the independent and assisted living rooms well. They have a sunroom, they have a room where they do puzzles, they have a room for arts and crafts, they also have a room where they exercise, and they have a room where they can just relax and watch TV and have entertainment. I believe the price is within range of most of the centers. Some of them I took her to were kind of skyrocket. She didn't want to pay that much. She got in on a discount for independent living this time."

"I will be moving to United Church Homes - The Polaris Community. I met a couple of people there, and everybody seemed friendly, but I liked that it was closer to representing the home I had just moved out of. It had a full kitchen, no kitchenette. The room was a par, and it looked comfortable. They had a range, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a washer and dryer. So, they had quite a bit, and Anna was great. I didn't see anything wrong with the cleanliness of the building. It's a very large building."
