My mother is 95 years old. She had lived in her own home for 14 years after my dad passed. She had a stroke 6 months ago and her ability to live alone deteriorated steadily. We, her children, needed to find the right senior adult facility. We toured a few homes and decided on BrightStar Senior Adult Village. It is almost new. It is bright with huge windows and open areas outside. The individual apartments are fresh and clean, and the entire staff is affectionate and kind to the residents. The nurses are very attentive to resident's needs. The dining room is well appointed, and the food is very good. My mother has been there for 2 months, and she seems very satisfied.

I went to the BrightStar Senior Living of Mason. It was nice, the staff was excellent, and the staff-to-patient ratio was excellent. The food was decent, it was just clean, it's new, and it's very nice. My mother-in-law didn't feel comfortable because there were not enough residents yet, so she felt like she'd be lonely. The staff was very nice, very friendly, they assessed her and they were very thorough, very kind. It made her feel very comfortable. They have a salon and a therapeutic spa. We loved it.

I like everything about BrightStar Senior Living of Mason, from cleanliness to the size of the rooms, and the care that they're giving. I looked at the memory care and Courtney was absolutely great. The rooms were beautiful. It's only a year old, so it's immaculate and impeccably clean when we were there.

I toured BrightStar Senior Living of Mason and I was looking for memory care at the time. This facility was most helpful to me, that's why I would recommend it. It seemed very clean and nice. I spoke to a couple of people who live there and they were very pleased with the place also. The lady who took me on the tour was the nursing staff, and she was very informative and I met a couple of other people who work there and they were very nice and helpful also. The layout was nice because they had memory care in a different section from the assisted. It's a locked-down facility, which is good when you're dealing with memory care. The layout was the same as the assisted living side, which I thought was very nice, too. Everybody's getting the same thing. I looked at the menu and they showed me around where they eat. They showed me how they do the different meals and then snacks and things like that.

I am really happy with BrightStar Senior Living of Mason. It's very positive, it's a really nice place, and they're very nice to my mom. They call me back if I have any questions, and they have a lot of help in memory care for the number of people who are staying there, and that's really good, too. My mom gets three meals a day, and they give her plenty of food. I just talked to her a minute ago, and she said lunch is good, too. They have all sorts of activities; they have a calendar for each month. Like today, she was getting her nails done, and then they did flower arranging. They also have bingo, movie nights with popcorn, and baking cookies. They have a game room, an interactive pet room, and a flower room, which is really nice. It's just very pretty -- I could live there. The staff has done really well, and I really like all of them. The cost is right around where everyone else is, and I like the fact we were able to move all of her furniture in so we could make the room like her own and make it look like when she had lived with me, so that was a big plus, too.
