The assisted living facility of Cardinal Place in Cambridge was beautiful, but it was way out of my price range. They also only do self-pay and don't take Medicare or Medicaid. It would have cost me $10,000 a month to stay there. Everything is first class there. It's probably not, but it looks brand new. We did a walkthrough mostly in the hallways. We also looked in a room or two, and they're nice, very roomy and very airy.

Cardinal Place is a nice facility. All the people there were nice. It's just laid out nicely. The rooms were well equipped for seniors. The person who showed me around was very friendly and very helpful. Overall, it was a nice experience. They have excellent food. They have a microwave and a small refrigerator. They do have appliances.
