We had my mom in assisted living for two months. It is called Maple Crest. They are probably one of the top in the nation. This is totally private through Mennonite Home. It was absolutely fabulous. It was like a resort. The people were fantastic to my mother. There was nothing that was wrong with it. The people were great, and the food was great. There was nothing to worry about. They checked on Mom while she was there. The place didn't smell and it wasn't dirty. It was even cleaner than a lot of people keep their homes. I was pleased with this place. They had a crafts room where they had furnishings and everything set up; however, Mom wouldn't do any of that. My mom was the problem. I also wish she was still there. Unfortunately, she moved herself out. She hired movers and moved herself back home.
