"My mother-in-law was at Northampton Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center before she passed. It wasn't exactly what we expected. The care she was given was adequate and she was comfortable and fed. I didn't have any issues with the staff. The room was fine and had a TV and adequate seating. They have community things going on on a daily basis that we were able to use a few times. She had a semi-private shared room."

"St. Francis Nursing Center is AWESOME!!!! My loved one was a patient there recently and I never had to worry about the care that was provided. The therapist were all amazing as well.. St. Francis was actually not even a choice for us, but they made us feel welcomed before we even stepped foot in the building. The admissions nurse, Jamie reached out to us while we were in the hospital to let us know that we were accepted for admission and even came to visit us and to answer any questions or concerns that we may had and invited us over for a tour. No other facility even bothered to call us, let a lone visit us in the hospital!! Once we got there, Courtney and Debbie were very helpful and competent in explaining any insurance questions we had. When we arrived we were welcomed by a cheerful and delightful lady named Renee at the desk. Nursing was prompt and helpful. Rebecca and Heather are above the best of the best! The DON, Farisa is wonderful! How many managers do you see out on the floor helping their staff? Not too many, but she was A1 in my book. St. Francis is world class and I would definitely recommend this facility in the even that anyone close to me needs 24hr nursing care or rehabilitation!!!! Way to go St. Francis! "

"My mom is currently at The Gardens at Warwick Forest. The place is nice and clean with no strong odors when you walk in which was my concern. The place is also quiet. I can see no patients just sitting in the hallway. They have a church and a bistro where we can get sandwiches, hamburgers, or whatever you want. They also play bingo. "

"Warwick Forest was a lovely area. It appeared to be well-maintained, it had everything that we needed, and it will be near my daughter's new house. They have movies and exercise, they have a swimming pool, they have grounds which you can walk on, and they have buses. They have just about everything that you need. It has three different restaurant type venues -- one is for formal dining, one for café dining, and another one is bistro style. "

"The staff at Regency Health and Rehabilitation was friendly, and the rooms were nice. It's a beautiful community, and they're almost finished with their renovations. It's worth taking a look at. I would've picked them if it hadn't been for the distance from where I live, and because it was more expensive than others."

"My friend is in Sentara Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The staff seems great. The room is large enough for a wheelchair set in there and large enough to do a little exercise with her. It has a bathroom with shower in it. The food seems to be pretty good. My visit there is fine. The place is nice and clean. It is very nice. The waiting room up front is nice. You will not see any trash on the floor, and the floor is shiny. If I have to go, I will go there. "

"My wife is now at York Convalescent Center. This is her fifth visit there, and I'm very comfortable with the facility, the staff, and the care that they render. I have no complaints. I have tried the food. I won't say it's excellent, but it's good. They offer options, so diets can be tailored. They're trying to please a whole lot of different people with different tastes, and they do a pretty good job of it. They have a full calendar of activities. There's something different going on every day."

"We chose Riverside Healthy Living Community Smithfield based on the recommendation of friends and a few nurse's aides, and their review from U.S. Health. It looked like their information was good, and my dad seems to be happy there. My dad's biggest thing was that he says the food is excellent. There's actually an issue pending there. My dad was in the nursing care facility part so he wears a diaper. Unfortunately, he was not monitored for his urine output, so as a result he wasn't urinating, and no one knew that, so he was rushed to the hospital for other symptoms, but it turned out to be a new condition my dad was having. So I would have to blame the nursing staff on that. We like the community itself because what happened was more of a staff issue. The room really looks beautiful. He pays $7,200 a month and my dad has long-term insurance which helps with that. I think that's about what everyone else is charging."

"The residents at this facility are so full of energy and spirit. I visited during the lunch hour and was amazed at the care service the staff provided. I sat on the sun porch and watched the beautiful view of the lake as residents scrolled the walking trail with their relatives and guest. The warmth and home like atmosphere makes me eager to come back and visit again. I highly recommend this nursing center to family members that are concern about their love ones living environment. If I enjoyed it, I know you will too. "

"I was a patient at the facility for most of October 2015. I had been there before and requested to go back. The stay this time was better. The Nurses gave good care and the rooms and halls were clean. I would go back "

"My mother-in-law recovered in this facility. It is an overall good facility. Of course nothing is perfect. We did run into one slight issue, an impatient nurse. Yet, the staff handled the situation respectfully and took appropriate measures of dissolving the discrepancy. So one never has to feel unprotected or feel their loved ones are in the wrong hands. Despite the little mishap, I was very pleased with their service. The nurses were great. Our family felt it was a second home. I loved the fact that despite the patients being handicapped, they were very much motivated to get back to being 100% independent because they were not hindered by being told they could not do something or something was impossible. Each staff member instilled pride amongst the patients. I have never seen anyone depressed over their condition or speaking of anything negative for that matter. All in all, I give the facility an A+ and I would definitely recommend it to anyone! "

"My mother had a beautiful private room. The staff could not have been any more professional or compassionate. There were plenty of activities. All the staff went above and beyond to make Mom's stay a positive experience. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give."
