"My father was at Hillsboro Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. I didn't have any problems with it. They were short-staffed a lot of times, but they did the best they could with what they had like a lot of places right now. I was satisfied with what they did. My father didn't do any activities. He was pretty far gone by the time I put him in there, but they had a lot of residents that play bingo and different things over there. The food wasn't the greatest stuff, but it could have been worse. The facility was pretty good. I didn't notice too much bad about it. The maintenance seemed to be okay on it from what I saw. The care my father received was okay. Communication was pretty good."

"My father was at Heritage Health - Litchfield, Illinois. I was pretty happy with them for what they provided for him. They had bingo and stuff. The rooms were all pretty nice. My father was there for a shorter time just doing rehab. While he was in there, the therapy was good. The room was clean. They had a seating area. They got an area that is like a courtyard in the middle of it and they had stuff like turtles and things that wander around outside in the courtyard. The residents like to look at it and interact with it sometimes. They had a pretty good thing going. The staff is alright."

"Heritage Manor has done really well, and my experience has been great. Everything has been good there, and she is getting good care. The best thing is that it is close to my house, because within five minutes I'm there. They play bingo, and they have people that come in to play music. They play cards and all kinds of stuff. The keep the rooms really clean, and it is adequate. "

"My mother moved into a skilled care nursing facility at Alhambra Care Center on November 7th. It's a clean, established facility that's been there for a while. My mother is in a semi-private room. I think it's a very good value for what they have to offer. They have a very caring staff, and that's really the most important feature at this time for my mother. The staff physician is excellent and very caring to all of his residents. They have a lot of activities, but my mother is not in a position to participate as much as some of the others. They do medication and physical therapy, although she doesn't like physical therapy. She likes the food."

"We were only at Hitz a short time but while there the Staff were very attentive and caring for our loved one. while he did not participate in the activities there, I did see several activities taking place and heard allot of laughter from other Residents. The facility was clean and did not smell like other places i have visited. I would recommend Hitz to anyone needing nursing care for their loved ones. "

"The thing that impresses me the most is the personal care my Mom receives. She is always addressed by her name, Rose, instead of any nicknames or honey, sweetie, etc. I live one hour away and I am always alerted by phone as soon as anything happens-fall. health problem (blood sugar problems), etc. There is a meeting with family and staff every six weeks to address any concerns with either side. Mom has been in three nursing homes and this is the first one I have felt she is completely safe and loved. I have recommended Heritage to several friends and they have enrolled their loved ones. "
