The staff has been so great with both my parents. The care has been outstanding and the communication with me has been outstanding.

my sister and i visited this facility before making a decision on where to place our mother for long term care. the first thing we both noticed was , it smelled really clean ! It is a small facility,which we both really liked for our mother,it was VERY clean. Mom really liked being there! then Coviv-19 hit.we could no longer visit mom inside. the staff was really Great, they made all the provisions so we could visit mom(although it was through glass windows). the staff was all very good with helping us,making sure mom knew we were there and communicating with her with with white board. Mom started going downhill,the end was near,on her final days they went above and beyond,getting us in to be with her.we were there nite and day for 3 days before mom passed.they were all truly wonderful.I cant say enough about how wonderful a place Hallmark of Carlinville is! When my time comes , that facility will be my choice! To the staff , thank you all so very much!

I visited Friendship Home in Carlinville, and it was very bad. I didn’t even finish the whole tour. The smell was really bad, and they didn’t have enough staff. To me, it didn’t do anything for me. The rooms weren’t bad. They basically had exercises, like walking up and down the hall, and a few games. They need to improve on providing more stuff for the people to do and a bigger staff. They only had one girl doing the cooking.
