"My mother is currently stauing at Rosewood. I am very impressed with this facility. First of all, it smells nice. Secondly they treat my mother like a person. They are very caring and considerate. If they are not doing something I think they should be doing, I just mention it and they take care of it. Everyone is very nice and respectable. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Thanks for all you do Rosewood! "

"My husband was there for rehabilitation following an accident. The staff was very friendly, supportive, and efficient. The good was very good as we were offered food as well during our stay With him. The rehabilitation services were excellent as he got home a week earlier than expected. Nursing was very nice and accommodating. The facility was clean and housekeeping was great."

"My grandmother has lived at Meridian Village for 5 years. She absolutely loves it. The facility has full-time staff, highly trained nurses and CNA's, rehab and nursing facility onsite, 3 healthy meals a day, and much more. The facility is clean and classy. There are house cleaning services available and if she ever needs anything, the facility is good about helping her attain it. There is also Activities every day for her to participate in and there is even a pool. She and her family could not be happier that she is in such a great place. "

"Heritage Manor has done really well, and my experience has been great. Everything has been good there, and she is getting good care. The best thing is that it is close to my house, because within five minutes I'm there. They play bingo, and they have people that come in to play music. They play cards and all kinds of stuff. The keep the rooms really clean, and it is adequate. "

"My grandma lives here and it's very nice. They have a dog who runs around and keeps the residents' company! The staff are nice. Most of the residents seem to be non-ambulatory which is unfortunate for my grandma since she is still walking without too much difficulty. So she really doesn't have anyone to walk around with! "

"The only qualm I have ever had about this nursing home is the fact that my grandmother had to be admitted to the hospital due to dehydration. I felt that the staff members could have done more to make sure that she was getting enough fluid. She is an Alzheimers patient, and is in the late stages of it, so she needs constant care and looking after. At the same time, she is an Alzheimer's patient, and cannot take care of herself, and maybe they thought she was getting enough fluid, but she was disposing of it in some other manner. Other than that one thing, I think the girls there are great! My great uncle Charlie is right around the corner from my grandmother, so I think it helps her a little with remembering things from her past. "

"My father moved to the memory care unit in Lebanon Care Center from another nursing home. In the month that he has been there, my family has been very pleased with the care. While it's not the fanciest, best looking showplace that some other homes are, the staff and personal care that the residents receive have been exceptional. So many homes focus on providing the necessities and forget about treating the residents as individuals. We've been impressed with how they are attentative to the little things that makes life happier for my dad. They show genuine interest in their residents hobbies, mental outlook, and quality of life. Each month they host a family event where they residents can get together with their family and have a good time. July was a "Christmas in July" party honoring Veteran's. They served refreshments, had a wonderful sax player, and gave small treat bags to all the residents. The staff was smiling, happy, and went out of their way to engage the residents in moving to the music, dancing, etc. It was awesome to be able to share that with my dad. "

"My father was at Heritage Health - Litchfield, Illinois. I was pretty happy with them for what they provided for him. They had bingo and stuff. The rooms were all pretty nice. My father was there for a shorter time just doing rehab. While he was in there, the therapy was good. The room was clean. They had a seating area. They got an area that is like a courtyard in the middle of it and they had stuff like turtles and things that wander around outside in the courtyard. The residents like to look at it and interact with it sometimes. They had a pretty good thing going. The staff is alright."

"My mom moved into Aviston Countryside Manor. The facility is very clean. They have very friendly staff and very good food. I go into the dining room with my mom frequently, and she compliments the food. The dining room is very nice. There are tables where probably about eight people can sit together. The aides serve them their food. They have regular cloth napkins and plates. It's a very nice facility. Their staff had been very helpful to my mother. They are good about coming in, checking on her, and helping her whenever she rings for them. They are nurses and CNAs. They have a very nice activity director. She sometimes helps out in the dining room if they're really busy, and she's very friendly."

"Integrity Healthcare of Alton is clean and smells OK. I've just had a little trouble with some of the staff, only because my dad is very particular about what he eats and he doesn't like to tell people about that. I understand that they're busy, but I would like for them to say, "Are you going to eat this? Or should we bring you another one?" When I've gone in, they had a room where some people were watching TV and a gym that they can go in and exercise."

"I have 17 years' experience with relatives who were residents at Breese Nursing Home. While the appearance is not the best, the care is amazing. The staff truly cares about the residents and makes sure to take care of their needs. There are many long-term employees who are obviously not there because of the pay or the benefits but because they truly love their job and in turn the residents. I have experience with other facilities that have all the bells and whistles and up-to-date decorations, etc. but I found the care to be lacking. I would recommend Breese Nursing Home to anyone who is more concerned about the care their loved one receives rather than the décor. "
