My father is in Edgewood Grand Forks. We chose it because it's brand new, it has nice amenities, and it has a nice dining hall. The staff looks friendly. They have his Sanford health doctors attached to the same building like there's a connection tunnel, so all of the doctorings can be done onsite with the physical therapy. Overall, it just checked all the boxes. The staff is very helpful, answered all of our questions, met with us on a couple of different occasions, toured several different units, and introduced us to a couple of the residents. My father says the food is excellent. I only had one meal there myself. They have a full activity schedule. They do outings in the community. They have classes and little events and stuff. They have a movie theater with popcorn and they have a poker Texas Hold'em event. There are a ton of different events. Comparatively speaking to other places, they had less money, but more to offer and newer.
