I just started to take my husband, who has Alzheimers, to the Millbrook Enrichment Center on Friday AMs a month ago and he was not happy to go the first time. Now he loves to go! Shelly, the head of it, is very caring and they have such a positive attitude, and it is so well organized. He is having so much fun and he laughs and talks about what they did all the way home in the car. They often take part in preparing their lunches and they make really nice craft items and play games, etc. He was always very good natured but since he has Alz. he gets frustrated and angy at times but now he is so much better natured since he's been going there. It makes me so happy to see him having such a good time and it gives me the AM to get out and get some errands done.
